Watched his performance against Villa and he was outstanding.
His whole game seemed so well rounded. Equally, this is a player who we were led to believe doesn’t possess an attacking threat. He certainly did in this game.Seems to be underrated; however, not by Man United fans.
An England call up should be on the cards but my guess is that it will not happen.Very good player.

Friend is a West Ham ST holder and his main problem with AWB is that he has zero urgency in getting back. He will join the attack and pop up around the box but if they lose possession he ambles back slowly and that side of their defence gets exposed. Last I heard, he was debating representing DR Congo, it'll be tough for him to get in the England side ahead of TAA0

Heard roughly the same off a mate - said he's practically playing right-wing half the time, which I guess can only be something he's been told to do, and that the midfielders keep having to cover him not getting back.follett said:Friend is a West Ham ST holder and his main problem with AWB is that he has zero urgency in getting back. Seems a weird way to use a guy who is a brilliant one-on-one type defender at the back but not great going forward.1 -
You are right, it will be tough to get in ahead of TAA.follett said:Friend is a West Ham ST holder and his main problem with AWB is that he has zero urgency in getting back. In saying that I think we all know that the latter is suspect defensively and it is nice to have other viable alternatives.0 -
Rated him when I first saw him at palace but I don't think I've ever seen him other than on highlights so can't say how good he is at tracking back.0

Bless you!1

This is the only reason I have a tad of respect for the lad. Never have I heard a fan before or since get emotional about a full back. He works hard- it was a bit harsh of that cafc (technically he does Doctor Who videos) YouTuber comparing Sean Claire (while he was at Charlton) to him.0

Why, as a Charlton Athletic fan, should I give a toss about him, especially as he started at Palshite 🤷

Because it just had his name - nothing else - if it expanded - in the title - what it was about, would not have opened it - so bore offLeroy Ambrose said:

What did you think it was going to be about? Plastering? The mechanics of the internal combustion engine? A discussion on harmonic primes?Lordflashheart said:

Cheers. It was my mistake that you really should not post under the other football and sports category.Lordflashheart said:Why, as a Charlton Athletic fan, should I give a toss about him, especially as he started at Palshite 🤷

I thought it created a divergence from the Charlton NON rumours transfer thread.Sorry to drag you away from it.

In future if you’re going to start a thread can you make it more clear in the title what it’s about so I don’t waste my time clicking on it , thankspettgra said:
