Im sure Edwards will start ahead of Small. Both are worthy of a start .

14 and 15 are good unallocated numbers. One for Potts and another incoming?0

If I were them I would be downing tools....." no number then you dont want me"
Also says a lot that we dont name a No1 keeper. Why not name either AMB or Mannion No1 and give any new keeper a number if/when they sign.
Gives off bad signals all round
As soon as his re-hab from surgery is completed, it's been leaked that Ness is signing for Notts County.
And Fraser is leaving to play in darkness and drizzle in Scotland.
After all, it's been discussed on here every day since pre-season training began

Edit: On second thought, I believe Dixon likes to wear 13...0 -
January a notoriously difficult time to do decent business but who else might leave to improve on them??
My thoughts below..
100% keep
Mannion
Ramsey
A Mitchell
L Jones (last 6 months of contract, so I worry will be sold)
Edwards
Coventry
Docherty
T Campbell
Berry
Anderson
A Campbell
Leaburn (last 6 months of contract, so I worry will be sold)
Godden
Kanu
To go and not be replaced.
Taylor, Edun, Hylton
To be improved on if better is available and we can move them on (obviously not all of them).
AMB, REG, Ahadme, Gillesphy, Watson.
Potts, Aneke, Small (all in last 6 months of contracts)
Possible loans
Z, Mitchell, Dixson, Asiimwe (already out).1 -
Are you basing A Campbell on one good game?1
-
No, on the basis he is on loan for the season and so I am guessing is here to stay. He has also been part of the squad a fair amount where Edun and Taylor have not

Apparently not allowed to say a player is good after an excellent performance, but you can certainly rule them out after a bad one.3 - Sponsored links:

It depends on what formation we mainly play. If we play 4 at the back for the rest of the season, then we have too many centre backs. Potts, who is only on a short term contract, would be the easiest to let go.1

The formation on Saturday meant we could press high with 4. To do that with the 3-5-2 would mean pushing another midfielder up or one/both of the WBs, leaving gaps and taking us further away from that defence shape.
The box midfield meant we could keep the back four and two holding midfielders back when needed, and we’ve still had or were closer to that defence shape.
It also means giving us another player to support the attack over Potts or Gillesphey. While they can be solid enough, they’re probably not going to change a game.Plenty for Jones to think about and sometimes it’ll change game by game based on the opponent, weather etc, but we must have showed we can play decent football without being so route one. I was surprised how much good football we played, we didn’t grind out that result, instead the team who really should win the league comfortably didn’t get a single shot on target.
If we stick with a back 4 we probably need another CB suited to it in January, Gillesphey, Potts and REG are very much wider CBs in a back 3. I’d also like to see Zach Mitchell at some point, once he gets going he might nail down his place in the team.0 -
Attacking midfielder Alex Gilbert, who joined on loan from Middlesbrough for the remainder of the season, has chosen to take the number 17 shirt.
Meanwhile, Portsmouth loanee Tom McIntyre, a versatile left-footed defender, has elected to wear the number 15 jersey.

I expected Gilbert to take 14… they’ve left it open for Hylton… :-)2
