Had the email today for Season Ticket holders to "bring a friend to Peterborough for £20" but when I click the link (signed in) it is still full price? Anyone else managed to redeem and am I doing something wrong ? Cheers.

I have just tested the system, clicked the link,signed in & then selected a seat & then the £20 price appeared on the site & in the basket.1

It is positive but to be critical it doesn’t go far enough / offer a real incentive.Given you are including a Saturday Sky game the incentive could be more.I’d like to see buy one get one half price as a better offer or buy 2 get the third free.I don’t even think we are doing football for a fiver any more.1

It’s a good initiative, however I would expect at least four of the last six to be on TV. Two already are and Burton is bound to be moved as they will want to show the last games. Huddersfield is also a likely contender.This might affect people’s decisions0

Not if the need/want points for play off tickets
Personally I can't see anyone choosing to watch any games from the run in on tv, if we are in the positions we are in now.1 -

Personally I can't see anyone choosing to watch any games from the run in on tv, if we are in the positions we are in now.
It’s also a cost aspect for some. Especially if they can see the game on TV and have already paid for that.
As I said it’s a good initiative all for getting more fans in.
I agree any Charlton fan will surely want to be at the game, we haven’t had much to get excited by over the past 5 or 6 seasons

If you were planning now to go to all six games and sit in the lower Covered End or family stand it’s a worthwhile offer, but there isn’t likely to be a big take-up because that's a relatively small cohort as many of those people will already have season tickets.
It’s no benefit to anyone who can’t guarantee being able to attend all six elsewhere - a maximum adult saving from doing so of £17 or £12 in the east and west against an upfront commitment of £145 or £180.

I designed the club’s ticket offers for 20 years (with some success). Hardly surprising then that I tend to look at what they do and have an idea what works and what doesn’t.

The offer seems to keep the "per game" prices just a little above what the season ticket - 1/2 season ticket rate. Seems reasonable although as a season ticket holder I would'nt mind if CAFC undercut those rates in order to increase attendances in this seasons run-in games. My experience is thats its a well timed, good idea/offer. As performances have improved interest from my group of lapsed Charlton supporting friends who have been taking up any unused seats from my season tickets has increased and a few are going to take advantage of the offer so as to ensure they get a seat.1 -

@Airman Brown, playing a big part previously at the club, have you ever recently been asked or “offered “any advice re fan initiatives? As times like now I would have thought you would be quite useful?
