  • Beterbiev takes the last.
    Bivol by 4 for me.
  • Bring on the trilogy
  • Bivol by 2 for me.
  • Beterbiev takes the last.
    Bivol by 4 for me.
And at worst, by 2, if one of the close early rounds went the other way.
  • can’t argue with those scores
  • At least it went the right way this time.
  • what a bloody fight that was!

The level these two fight at is beyond elite.
    Staggeringly good for 24 rounds.
  • Bivol v Benadivez please.

That's the fight of the best two fighters in the division. Bivol has won both these fights, even if it is 1-1.

The best two just fought for the second time. A decider might be best.

I'd agree with that although the first fight was VERY close. I guess you could argue that with it standing at 1-1, he deserves a third deciding fight but Beterbiev is now 40, so them fighting again in another 6 months i don't think changes anything here, Bivol will just win on points again.

Benavidez is only 28 so he has the time to wait.
  • Dubois out.
That's a shame..was hoping Parker would smash the morons face in. Find him to be a really unlikeable guy.

Bakole stepping in is a solid replacement though.

Do you still think that Bakole is a solid replacement as I thought he looked like a lump of lard.
What accurately put him on his large arse ?

Get well soon Dubois you made the wise chance of not being blinded and quit when you had a broken eye socket against Joe Joyce. 22/2 and only the durable  Ukrainian Usyk has beaten him along with Joyce.

Dubois was quality against AJ and the Greenwich born fighter doesn't get the credit he deserves.

He a fighter not on Mastermind FFS.

To be fair to Bakole, he missed the weigh in as he was still travelling so it is less than ideal prep for a reinvented Parker. Think he would've lost anyway but its a tough gig to step in that late in the day.

Exactly, he was drafted in at 2 days notice, wasn't in training and he had to take at least 2 flights to get there, so only landed in Riyadh about 24 hours before the fight. On top of that because he wasn't in a training camp his body clock wouldn't have been in any way prepared for fighting at midnight local time. I don't think a boxer could've had a much worse prep for a fight.

With the vast money in Heavyweight boxing, why does it turn into amateur night ?
I guess the promotors don't want to pay for a fit replacement to be on standby for either fighter.
    It was an embarrassing spectacle.
  • I don't like either of them, but Eubank is playing a blinder in the run up to this fight... Has Conor Benn on strings

He winds Hearn up every time as well and he barely has to try. Just stays calm, speaks quietly and has them all fuming. One thing that was also pretty clear though, Benn looks tiny next to him.
  • Not a fan of the fight or either fighter, but the build up so far has had me in stitches

  • I used to hate Eubank and really like Benn. I have completely switched my opinion now

    Couldn't have put it better
  • I've always had a soft spot for the Eubanks, and Jnr has only ever been beaten by world champs, but the egg ploy was stupid and will turn a lot of fans against him. Whatever the result in April, this feud still has a long way to go...
  • I'm the opposite I guess.  Must preferred Benn Snr to Eubank Snr, and have always thought Eubank Jnr was as arrogant as his Dad without the class to back it up.
The egg slapping was ridiculous but he knows what he's doing.  He's got both Benn's and Eddie Hearn absolutely frothing at the bit.
Just wish Benn Jnr was a little bit bigger to make it a proper contest.

Eubank Snr was all about getting in people's heads.  Jnr seems the same.
The only man that got in Snr's head was Steve Collins, after he was hypnotised and it proper fucked with Eubank's head.
Perhaps Benn Snr needs to give Paul McKenna a call.
  • I like Eubank and hope he smashes Benn, Fair play to them and their teams, they’ll generate numbers far greater than the level of the fight deserves.

Doesn't seem that way looking on social media. Most people can't stand Benn.

He's fought absolutely no one of any note, failed a drugs test, offered no credible reason why, and (in my opinion) he's lucky Eubank wants to fight him because if his surname wasn't Benn he'd have no chance. His last fight was at lunchtime in a Vegas hotel ballroom.

He should be thankful for the egg slap as well because he's terrible at promoting a fight. All he's got is repeatedly calling Eubank a wanker and says he's going to knock him out.
  • Always been a Eubank rather than Benn man and no reason to change my mind with their lads.
  • Liked Benn Snr better, but prefer Eubank Jr

that said, think he was bit of a tosser with the egg thing and the press conference spat with Eddie Hearn
  • Benn jr failed a drugs test and hasn't fought anyone of note to earn this shot, other than his dad being Benn sr.

He's overhyped and is only at this level from name recognition only. Hope he gets a humbling.
  • Fisher V Allen rematch confurmed for the Copperbox Arena.
