This is a story I was unaware of until it found its way to the BBC Sport website and app.  What a shocking thing to happen to anyone - never mind someone who captained Charlton to an historic FA Cup win.

    Bit of a clickbait title there Chizz, the captain was effectively homeless.

    Surely it's pretty standard if you're working abroad and get sacked?
