Just to clarify - my Charlton TV subscription does not count as a season ticket?
Not what is intended in the Q here, Algarve, but will think about a Q or 2 around CTV in future as a couple of people have mentioned it.
Thanks to all who have completed the survey so far. Keep the responses coming please!
Definitely worth doing, not least as a bloke with the title Chief Commercial Officer of the EFL is blithely telling the Athletic that the Sky deal has had no effect on attendances, without any data to back it up or being asked to provide it. Even if attendances end up increased on last season, that doesn’t close the case, because there might be other factors driving the increases. That’s where polling like this amomg fanbases plays a role in getting to the truth of what fans are actually doing and thinking.

Birmingham will have massively skewed the attendance figures in L1, he'll be able to hide behind that for a year I'd imagine

In my case I only learned about the Sky deal after I bought my Season Ticket. In hindsight, and having now fully seen how it works, I don't think I would have now bought one. Instead I would have watched all the televised games and cherry picked from those games not on Sky to go to the Valley (which I find increasingly a hassle to get to). When we were playing poorly in the Autumn I would not have gone, and some games I watched on TV even though I had already paid to attend with my Season Ticket.
Next year's decision to buy a Season Ticket is going to be a tough one. At the moment I probably will not renew. If my admittedly self centred thought process is shared and replicated, then income next year may be even more seriously disadvantaged than this.
Didn't answer the 'one word' question. Far too difficult. Needs a bit of context.
I struggled with question 9, 'Thinking about Charlton Athletic right now, do you agree or disagree with the statements in the Charter', because it is ambiguous. It could mean whether I agree that the statements are important and should be in the Charter, or it could mean the degree to which I think the statements in the charter are currently being met. I took it as the former, but other people might have answered differently. For this reason, I'd be careful about drawing too many conclusions from the responses.
Thanks to The Trust for the survey and their hard work throughout the year. Good luck.
