  • Zero added time. Ref must have an early train to catch, would explain his reluctance to give any free kicks.
  • Good without the ball again. Poor up front with it.
    Best team though.
  • HT0-0 pretty tight game with no real chances created by either side...maybe we could find a ref for the second half
  • TC getting no change out of defenders, not been a great half from us but defended well
  • Level at HT seems fair.
Hopefully our subs 2nd half can push us on to 3 points
  • Lots of huff and puff, but not much else.
  • Feel like I've watched their RB take 500 throws in that half
  • Interested to see Stockport’s centre backs today. Both young (22 & 20), both highly rated.
They’re both annoying bastards grappling shirts
  • Probably shaded it. They've done a good job on TC and Leaburn so far.
  • I’d take a 0-0 here. Although, I think with the right subs we could win it.

Referee is beyond shocking. Some blatant fouls just ignored.

  • Be happy enough with another half like that.

This is no easy task for us, but on the whole we’ve reduced them to not much and probably had the best chance.
  • You can tell Ramsey is in credit as none of his fan club mention he made the two mistakes for the recovery.

I'm in his fan club as well ✅
  • Half time

a nervy game so far, and one we haven’t stamped any form of authority or style on!
Leaburn very poor so far, and feel godden would have been better - although the physicality of the game has limited Leaburn somewhat.

TC also limited first half - hasn’t been given any space and we’ve just tried to lump balls in behind for him to run onto. Need the midfield to put their foot on the ball and play forward on the deck.

defensively we look solid in the middle but down the sides has been Stockport main threat - Anderson in midfield to break up play would be my main change
  • Felt like a non-league physical game at times. Not much happening apart from shirt pulling.

Will be interesting to see which side changes there tactics or subs first.
  • I like Olofah for them up top...
  • All about second balls as the wind and a very lenient ref dominate the first half. We look fairly solid at the back, and midfield doing ok. Leaburn is being fouled incessantly and TC looks tired.

Maybe a switch to Godden at HT would help?

Still very winnable but the wind and a mistake may be what turns this game.

    COYA!
  • A rare game so far where TC's pace isn't really doing much against a disciplined backline. Godden can give their defenders some difficult questions to answer if he pulls them out of their comfortable positions later on. Berry looks like the player who can have a one touch moment of inspiration today, let's hope we get a goal out of it

Very different to the open flowing game vs Orient. The referee and the wind have helped make it a very scrappy, physical game. Defence is playing well, midfield and attack haven’t really got going. Looking like a 0-0 or 1-0 either way. The kind of game that might get settled by a set piece - time for Gilbert to shine again?
  • Probably shaded it. They've done a good job on TC and Leaburn so far.
Yep, fair comment, hopefully TC will get through, and have a chance, second half

  • We need to improve going forward as its hard to believe they won't.
  • I know most on here have written him off but I fancy Chuks to make an impact off the bench today.
  • God awful football match here
  • Both defences are the winners in that half. Our passing needs to be crisper but I disagree with Brownie, Campbell has seen more of the ball but has not put his marker under pressure. I think at some stage Gilbert will be introduced and this time I wouldn't mind seeing Chuks, to give those centre half's something to think about.
  • Thought we had a good 20 mins, then let them more into it. Still all to play for though.

Ethan Pye is more than a bit grabby. Ought to change his name to Octopye.

Co-commentator sounds like Karl Pilkington. Bit of a miserablist too.
  • Expect more from Small, he has been poor
  • Thought Ethan Pye looks a top defender in that half
  • Boring game, two very well organised defences in charge

Surprisingly quiet in the away end as well, rare for us to be out sung by the home fans
  • Would love to see what Gilbert can do other than take a wicked corner, feel like we rarely get to see him for longer than 10 mins

Lack of roof on the Away Stand probably doesnt help...
