MANNION: 7.5 - had only one very good save to make but commanded his area well. He is a very reassuring presence
RAMSAY: 7 - caught on the wrong side of his man a couple of times but his powers of recovery are outstanding
JONES: 8.5 - he was immense
GILLESPHEY: 8.5 - another excellent performance
SMALL: 4 - a real off day but Stockport had done their homework and handled him well
COVENTRY: 7 - worked hard, covered a lot of ground and contributed to a fine rearguard action
BERRY: 5 - unable to influence the game
DOCHERTY: 5.5 - worked hard but offered nothing going forward
EDWARDS: 6.5 - stuck to his task
LEABURN: 5 - outmuscled by Stockport's robust central defenders, who were aided and abetted by a ridiculously tolerant referee 
CAMPBELL: 5 - the defenders got very tight on TC and he failed to make any impact 
ANDERSON: 6 - did ok when he came on with his physicality and energy
ANEKE: 5.5 - manhandled throughout
Referee: 4 - I like refs that try to let the game flow but this guy took it far too far, ignoring persistent on and off the ball fouling and grappling. On the way back to the station, we passed the town's art deco Plaza, which I noticed was hosting wrestling from 6:30 Saturday evening. I would not be surprised if Martin Coy (for it was he) was officiating.

MANNION: 8 One great save to keep us in it and looked assured
RAMSAY: 7.5 Good defensively but I do worry when he lets players get goal side of him.
JONES: 8.5 Won everything in the air despite being pulled around by their thugs at every opportunity
GILLESPHEY: 8.5 Same as Jones plus he almost won it with that late header
SMALL: 6 Disappointing performance. Couldn't get the better of their full back and started making mistakes as a result
COVENTRY: 7.5 Our best midfielder. Great energy and seemed to be the only one able to create anything
BERRY: 6 Missed our best opportunity. Started okay but faded as the game went on.
DOCHERTY: 7 The highish mark is for his defensive duties not attacking! 
EDWARDS: 8 Another good display defensively and his long throws are like having a corner. Which is just as well because we didn't have any in the game!
LEABURN: 5 Sorry miles, even accounting for the fact that they bullied you all game that was very poor.
CAMPBELL: 5 Same as Leaburn.
ANDERSON: 7 Brought renewed energy to the midfield and made the cross for the late chance.
ANEKE: 5 Seems to get slower and less effective every time I see him. 
Referee: 3 I am all for letting the game flow but that was ridiculous!
