Just purchased two tickets and a room at that salubrious 1-star establishment, Travelodge Mansfield Town Centre. We may stop off at Nottingham for a sharpener on the way up.
Mansfield will be a new ground for me. A well run club who operate on a very small budget and one who actually managed to break even in their last financial year. The only high profile former players that I can think of offhand are the prolific striker, Ken Wagstaff (nearly a goal every other game over a 16 year career) and Stuart Boam, who both started with the Stags and went on to great things with Hull and Middlesbrough respectively.1 -

Impressive numbers imo. I should qualify to get what will be limited numbers of tickets compared to demand for the Wrexham game but I’d have no problem if the club gave priority access to anyone that goes to the Mansfield match (which I’m not going to).2

Then everyone will buy a Mansfield ticket and not use it, I suppose. Nice for Mansfield, they keep most of the money.1

I remember years ago before Palace away the club said that people who went to Swindon away midweek for a cup game would get priority. Cue a bumper crowd in the away end at Swindon that week.
I think it was the Todorov 1-0 win so well worth it.0 -
