Had Newcastle to win, Isak to score and Jota to score but bet 365 still offering a cash out once Jota got subbed 🤔 do they keep the bet going with the player to take Jotas place?
Amazing how Howe has converted Joelinton from an aimless forward to being the all action midfield enforcer
Wasnt it Steve Bruce who did that?
The Brazilian joined the club in 2019, signing for £40m from Hoffenheim. He arrived as a striker but his struggles to score led to him, for a while, being considered an expensive flop.
Howe had a different view and moved the then striker into midfield. He flourished in the position, earning praise for his combative performance and tough tackling, and has not looked back since.
"He improved me as a player, not just me but other players that were here before him," Joelinton said.
"He changed my position but in general his mentality, his passion, his desire to work every day and work hard to improve.
"He is one of the best coaches I've ever had, not just as a coach but in general as a man.
"The way he treats every player, he talks not just about football but about life, he is always here for us. He is like a father figure."

Quansah has to the be the best example of 'only being selected for England because of who you play for' i've ever seen. If he was at someone like Bournemouth or Brentford there's no chance he'd have been chosen.
Also having Macallister marking Dan Burn at corners must be the dumbest idea i've seen in a log time.
Blimey - there are gonna be more twitching arseholes for the next 5 mins in the Newcastle end than when the cheese board comes out at World Lactose Intolerants Convention.

Good luck!
* on the other hand, fuck em 😂
Wigan even had Carragher's son!
I suppose I'll get over it.
Outstanding performance.
Give them a bit of hope then blow the whistle for full time
