No. Behind the goal. I used to work there and the side bit for away fans is closedclive said:
Away supporters will be accommodated in the GH Display Stand behind the goal, the Main Stand or both depending on the demand for tickets. Ask your club for details.redbuttle said:
All our tickets are behind the goal as the side is shut.Rothko said:I got my ticket early, and got ones behind the goal, so depends if they've released more in that stand, or in the main stand, either way, that whole corner of the ground will be Charlton

The ticket prices in the extra allocation are higher than the original allocation which suggests that they are for the Main Stand at the side of the pitch.
See prices on the link above.
That doesn't say away fans won't be in the Main Stand, it just means we have at least the entire GH Display Stand.
I'd be surprised as Peterborough aren't usually shy in giving away sides as many tickets as possible and we've had fans in there before as well as behind the goal but if an ex-colleague of yours says it's shut then fair enough.1 -
Please look at my latest post. They change it for every game.shirty5 said:

We did but we have the end nowSheepie1985 said:I'm pretty sure the last time I went there we had a portion of the stand on the right as well0 -
So Northampton tickets are £27 and in the Main Stand, the new batch we've got is the same price.
Tickets behind the goal were £25. They can't charge more now for essentially the same tickets.
99.99% sure we'll be in the Main Stand too.3 -
Well if my old man's heard from the safety officer at posh I'd assume it's pretty certain too!Belv said:So Northampton tickets are £27 and in the Main Stand, the new batch we've got is the same price.

Would imagine the Buttle's are correct as they have actual knowledge but we'll find out soon enough when lifers tickets arrive1
-
If you are in that stand you will be on your own lol. Look at my previous post it shows the Posh website and at the bottom it says GH stand away fans for charlton athletic gameBelv said:So Northampton tickets are £27 and in the Main Stand, the new batch we've got is the same price.

From memory the far end of the Main Stand and the newer end stand can be connected inside, so that the concourses can be shared between away fans.
It makes sense to have flexible seating and entrance arrangements, at Stockport for example the away entrance is the same whether the away fans are in the side stand or the open end, and if home fans are in that open end, they enter from the other side.0 -
No, it just says Posh fans won't be able to move their tickets to GH. Doesn't say anything about away fans not being in Main Stand. That page is specifically for information on the GH Display Stand.redbuttle said:

The CAFC ticket site now has Standard tickets available at £25 (Returns presumably) and Extra Allocation at £27. They're in different stands, your ex-colleague has probably given you out of date information.1 -

Seems like we now also have some more £25 tickets released alongside those £27 extra allocation tickets2

Have to wait and see then lol, would still be surprised if info was wrong but the more the merrier. Hoping the club put out some comms on the extra tickets to prompt a sell out.Belv said:Belv said:

Buzzing for this already and it's only Monday morning. Going to feel like a long week!

Meant to piss down, was hoping not as Charlton fans taking over charters (the barge near the ground) would be brilliant.1

Finally some comms on extra tickets, nothing about where they are though

I think you’re wrong on this @redbuttle
Only way you can charge differently is by different location. Peterborough are cashing in.
No idea why it hasn’t been announced though.
Currently there are also tickets available for the Standard away section. For those not clear on buying the extra tickets, if you click on tickets for the game you’ll get a screen like this
If you click on the dropdown box by standard tickets, you’ll see there are extra options, including Extra Allocation

No surprises there, they're skint haha. Home fans won't be pleased.AFKABartram said:I think you’re wrong on this @redbuttle

Not sure to be honest! Think they've booted the home fans out so not sure why they don't just utilise the whole stand. Maybe blocking off the ends to prevent crowd trouble.Belv said:

Why give us 391 at the side when there's several hundred available still behind the goal. Unless there's netting/advertising over the seats?1 -
Jealous of everyone who’ll be there. Make a racket for all of us.3
-
Good news that Ireland's squad replacement for Smallbone has been announced and it's not Conor. I'm also assuming Karoy has turned down his call up to play for us as he's an ever present in their squad4
-
it’s ok Callum, I’ve given Golfie the day off from our Misery Society so it’s down to me to remind everyone that we are always sh*t and lose when we have good away support.Callumcafc said:Jealous of everyone who’ll be there. Make a racket for all of us.5 -

It’s not a match that is known for any bad feeling between the fans: and there is potentially a big upside for Posh if Charlton go up. Edun was a big bonus for them and it wouldn’t surprise me if he hasn’t shared his knowledge and thoughts about his ex-teammates and the youth team players. If we are in the Championship next season then that’s likely to limit chances for giving younger players first team experience (no EFL trophy, no 1st and 2nd rounds of the FA Cup). Posh on the other hand have a history of developing basically unknown players from elsewhere and Ferguson is a manager with form. Sending them a couple of lads on loan (we seem to be having a purple patch with prospects atm) and maybe letting them have another surplus to requirements player on the terms we gave them for Edun might be an attractive prospect for both sides. A goodwill gesture with the extra tickets now, and earn a bit more revenue at the same time, wouldn’t be such a hard thing to do for teams that basically get on OK in other times.ButtleJR said:
