WWIII around the corner?

I’ve just seen in the on-line version of El Pais that France has issued a guide on what to do if there is a cyberattack, disaster or a war. It was then followed up by a European guide (could be wrong on all accounts if I mistranslated. 
Has anybody else heard of this and anything happening in the UK? Seems to me scare mongering but does Europe know something we don’t know?

    Lots of countries issue guides on what to do in case of national emergencies, it doesn't mean they are about to happen.

    My guess is that this thread will be sunk before the bomb drops anyway.

    Paint the windows with white emulsion, take off the inner doors and make a camp under the stairs and take shelter there, if I remember well...🤦‍🙄

    I have the DVD of 1980’s ‘Protect and Survive’ film - all utter bollocks - it was simply to keep people busy - none of what it says would protect you, or enable you to survive - great voice over by Patrick Allen though

    I didn't realize other countries had Victory Gardens as well.

    Anyway, it's almost planting time here. This year I'm growing corn, kale, lots of tomatoes (hopefully), zucchini (which you call Cornucopia or something I don't know), Cilantro (which you call basil), and basil (which you call football).

    We have a basement with cinema room and wine storage room. Our neighbours are asking us to lay in a large supply of tinned food and they are coming to ours if the balloon goes on.

    Despite the block and beam ceiling am not sure it will provide much protection from the bombs but we will die drunk and happy and I will make sure the last thing we watch is all my Charlton dvds.
