  • A really good video. Donated - and for Charlotte too.

I’ve signed up for the testing but telephoned the organisers to cancel, as I was going to struggle to make my revised time of 10:00am. The lady I spoke to very helpfully said that they appreciate the difficulties that can arise from the earlier kick-off, are taking a flexible attitude and that I should just get there when I could and they’d process me.

I don’t know how accurate this BBC article is on the efficacy of home testing but, if there’s anything in it, it’s a good reason to sign up or get a blood test at your GP’s.

  • Another good result for fundraising on Tuesday, as well as for our league position, means that the tally is now £19
Birmingham (A): no points, no goals, no clean sheet = £0
    Exeter (H): 3pts + 3goals + TC & ML goal bonus + clean sheet = £9
    Orient (A): 3pts + 2goals, no academy bonus, no clean sheet = £5
    Barnsley (H): 3pts + 1goal + clean sheet, no academy bonus = £5
  • A hard fought point at Stockport thanks to a clean sheet takes the running total up to £21
Birmingham (A): no points, no goals, no clean sheet = £0
    Exeter (H): 3pts + 3goals + TC & ML goal bonus + clean sheet = £9
    Orient (A): 3pts + 2goals, no academy bonus, no clean sheet = £5
    Barnsley (H): 3pts + 1goal + clean sheet, no academy bonus = £5
Stockport (A): 1pt + clean sheet, no goals, no academy bonus = £2
Hopefully tonight's match at Crawley will be more lucrative, with 3 points coming our way.

Tuesday night's win at Crawley takes the tally to £26
Birmingham (A): no points, no goals, no clean sheet = £0
    Exeter (H): 3pts + 3goals + TC & ML goal bonus + clean sheet = £9
    Orient (A): 3pts + 2goals, no academy bonus, no clean sheet = £5
    Barnsley (H): 3pts + 1goal + clean sheet, no academy bonus = £5
Stockport (A): 1pt + clean sheet, no goals, no academy bonus = £2
    Crawley (A): 3pts + 1goal + clean sheet, no academy bonus = £5
If we can manage to beat Wigan at home tomorrow then that'll take the running total up to at least £30, which covers the full cost of one PSA test.
Just a quick reminder that you can still sponsor both Tracey and Charlotte for their efforts. Tracey has beat her target, but Charlotte could do with a bit of a boost:
  • Saturday's win against Wigan means the running total is now up to £31, which is more than the full cost of one PSA test, or two contributions to cover the shortfall between the amount participants pay and the actual cost.
    Wigan (H): 3pts + 2goals, no academy bonus, no clean sheet = £5
  • will there be any parking available at the ground, normally I'd have hung about and had a beer but at 9.30 I'm going home after and coming back

Unfortunately there will not be any parking available at the ground.

anyone know the closest you can park to the ground?
I'd try Harvey Gardens if it's 9.30 but they do have stewards closing entry a few hours before KO.
Alternatively if that's no good or you don't want to risk hassle I'd park in Charlton Lane.
Check the signs but you can park for 2 hours in most bays.

  • You should be able to park in the trading estate opposite  Ransom Walk for an hour but check signs.

I opted for a home test kit last year, however it was one where I sent my blood sample off to the same lab that the match day samples went. I think the problem is the ones that are like the Covid tests.

Well the Peterborough game was a damp squib in fundraising terms as well as the actual result, but the team have one last chance tomorrow to make me fork out more cash, and hopefully they'll take it.

Charlotte has had a couple of generous donations over the last few days, but is still a little way off her target, so if anyone is feeling flush, you can donate here: https://www.goodhub.com/go/runcharrun
  • I'd missed that Charlotte was doing a half marathon as well
  • In and out very quickly, time for a pint of Black Cab
  • Just got done. Very impressed with how quick and easy it was. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen.  :)
  • See that Henry Irving bloke has got a new job already 😂
I said that to him too - he looked very relaxed :)

  • Excellently organised, well done all involved and well done for everyone supporting the initiative and supporting yourselves 👏
  • Excellent organisation. No queuing so in and out in a few minutes.
Blood was taken by a Millwall fan, one of a few there apparently.
  • Thanks @Tracey and team, great set up and you nailed it today.
