This will be my first game for almost 14 months after I managed to swap my season ticket seats for seats which require no steps, and I can use the disabled gate for the West Lower, wherever that's located.. if anyone knows then please let me know. Hopefully I'll be able to get a cheap Uber from Staines. I looked the other week and it was £37, then I looked the other day and it was £80!
West stand lower gate is just past the players entrance I think?
As for uber cost, couldn't you get an uber to Staines station, then train the Waterloo, and an uber there, or to slough and get on the Liz line to Woolwich, then another uber from there? Would surely save a bundle that way, some how..?

I've got the problem that I can't go down stairs or step down to anything, and I'm super slow at downhills with crutches. So getting the train is a no go, it'll take me about 20mins to get down the ramps at Waterloo East. I was thinking Liz line from Heathrow to Abbey Wood and Uber from there, as a bus from Woolwich would be too busy for me and there's nowhere to get picked up from around there now all the flats are up. Maybe I'll start a petition to get Valley Express to come here!
I think both jubilee and Liz line are step free at most stations, and you could (probably) get a lift down to the jubilee at Waterloo and another up to the surface at North Greenwich. Someone else would know better and if the lifts are actually working as they should.
Early kick off too btw in case anyone reading has forgotten (there's always a few)
As they have a game in hand I'd say this is a do not lose game. I think top 2 is too big a gap right now, whereas finishing 3rd or 4th to get home advantage is important in the play offs
Important game, we need the points, as do they to stay in the play off race .. they are not in great form and our form worries me, only Gilly and Goddy (good ol G Men)are scoring goals, I don't reckon our midfield is functioning too well in either defence or attack, Campbell needs to improve his passing and crossing .. I hope Edwards is fit as Watson is not good enough or he's just out of form .. as said, we need to win this .. I reckon we will after a struggle .. looking forward to it

I live down the road from you £37 Staines to The Valley - not a chance, realistic cab fare is more like the £80, even that is value for the miles round the M25, good luck and enjoy the game, COYR
This will be a real.test after last week and the injuries we have suffered. Win this and I really will believe. The udders will be up for this after a long break, first goal crucial, 1-1
"Dion Charles signed from Bolton has yet to score for his new side"
1) The Huddersfield gaffer pins this on the dressing room wall. "Dion, look what's been posted on Charltonlife by ForeverAddickted in their preview. You know what to do!"
2) Charles scores a 96th minute winner, lifting up his shirt to reveal a message "Thanks ForeverAddickted"
3) ForeverAddickted is tarred and feathered by hordes of angry Charlton fans, led by Nathan Jones.

Not quite the £37 but it shows just how much the prices fluctuate daily.

Edwards starting would be a massive boost for us. I think the key to the game is us getting onto the front foot. It is an even bigger game for them than us.
Not able to watch today. Don’t have a particularly good feeling about it. Huddersfield are no great shakes but we need to show that last week was just a wobble. Need to make possession count for more and get some end product out of our wide men.
Their ground is called John Smith's and their gaffer is called Worthington. If they've got a player called Boddington then they've ticked off all the crap '90s beer I used to drink.

Most railway companies, if you contact them and explain there is no disabled facilities at your particular station of entrance or exit, will provide you a taxi to the next station that does have those facilities, Thameslink do this and so do South Western, I believe it's part of the franchise agreement.

I'm expecting Edwards to start & Dion Charles to score. For the final acca I'm also going to be there & I've not seen us lose this season.
A defeat & then a dodgy away game at Mansfield on Tuesday evening could see our top 6 spot being under severe pressure.
This really is squeaky bum time.
