Funny how we see the game differently. I thought he was awful. Our corner of the away end was all in agreement3

I thought he was poor and offered hardly anything.
Godden should have come on.5 -
I think you can’t compare him to the Chuks of old. He’s a different player now. He can hold the ball up and win headers, he did that today, he can’t do what he used to be able to do outside of that2
-
He was at it with their 33 after the head injury and both could have been sent off pushing shoving punching grappling , really filthy stuff going on ,
im a big fan of his but today im thinking we should give Ahadme a run nah fuck that stick with Chuks , no matter how shit he is he’s better than that bluff

Looked sharp today, much better. Need him to step up if Leaburn is out23

He may not be fast anymore, but his feet are pretty quick.1

He looked far better today than he has in recent appearances. Perhaps there's still a bit of life in him.1

Chuks could easily have shot when he squared the ball to Dixon. It's says a lot about the guy that he chose to try and tee up the kid rather than go for glory himself. Especially as goals haven't been easy to come by this season.35

Showed that he still has an important role to play.3

Camera angle wasn’t great on the reply, but he looked probably offside. Not by much though. I wasn’t totally sure, at first, if Anderson actually touched the ball, if not Chuks would’ve been on.
Showed today why he’s on the bench ahead of Ahadme. Hopefully the start of him getting a bit of mojo back. As others have said, we need Chuks to be 1) available and 2) close to his best for as long as Leaburn is out. Hopefully he gets that goal soon. I think that might loosen him up a bit.5 -
I have this dream that Chuks signs off his playing career with us with a super sub winning goal in the play-off final to seal his cult status for Charlton.15

You just never know what you’re gonna get from Chuks. A few of his recent cameos have been awful but yesterday looked closer to his prime cameo period. If you watch him closely on the pitch, he just screams nutter. He spends half the time talking and berating himself, pleading to the gods, one minute his shoulders are slumped, the next his arms are open gesticulating. On field he looks high maintenance, but if we are going to get any success out of this season we need the pumped and performing Chuks cameos that we saw again yesterday21

I worry that 3/4 of Chuks battles are with his internal self. Yesterday was a no pressure free hit, often he is introduced when we are behind and desperately need something. The pressure he seems to put on himself to deliver sometimes seems to prevent him from being the free flowing menace that he can be.
i hope he finds himself and is able to shine his light for us a few more times. Always loved Chuks.9 -
Towards the end of the game when it was 4-0 and Charlton looked like they were going to do their part in replicating the 7-6 score line and Huddersfield weren’t the approach from the losing team seemed to take on a more physical aspect. Chuks was the perfect player to bring on to counter that and I thought he had a much better game as a result than he’s enjoyed recently. Very encouraging for the run in imo because we are probably going to need him, especially if we are going to give Dixon some more time on the pitch.1
