Don't want to throw in the towel just yet on 2nd, but third is def up for grabs, that would be great...

    Reading 1-0 Wycombe...penalty
    We'll catch Wycombe.

But bloody Wrexham winning again.  If only we'd signed Smith when we were in for him before he went to Reading.
Never mind Smith, if only we'd beaten Brum and Disney to their choice of refs and linos.

The number of pens they've had this season - and what they've been given for - has been borderline scandalous.

Missing Kanu as well given no TC he would certainly have played that role. Or if Leaburn was fit we might have seen him and Godders up top.

Big lack of pace now TC is out, I wonder why Gilbert isn't getting many minutes, surely a better attacking threat then Anderson?
I would take a scrappy 1-0 win now

Can see what he's going for, Anderson to play further up the pitch do the running and pressing that TC does.

But he doesn't have that attacking quality on the ball of TC. Hope it's a case of early 2nd half subs to bring on more attacking quality and pace.

2nd game in a row for me. I was only going for the Tyreece Campbell song. :(
Same here. Just crossing Blackheath on the bus. Might get off & go to the fair instead 😄

We simply need to keep doing what we're doing, and hope two out of Lincoln, Wigan & Blackpool to cause Wrexham to slip up if we want to get 2nd...Considering that we've still got to play Wycombe and Wrexham to play, it's extremely difficult but doable. Let's see what happens

Also baffled by the lack of Gilbert, trust in Jones of course but I really don't know why Gilbert isn't getting a look-in, hasn't doing anything wrong in his appearances

Charlton will make the play offs anything else is a bonus, that being the case I'd rather we had a fully fit squad after 46 games, rather than go into the play offs missing too many.
Sort of agree with this, although catching Wrexham is of course still possible it seems that even if we were 3-0 up at their place with two minutes to go the ref would find somehow to even things up. Having everyone fit for the play offs is imperative.

Just win the 3 points today.

That's all we can do. We have no control over other games, no point even worrying about them.

If other teams drop points, great.
But none of it really matters until after 46 games are completed.

I’d have played Dixon without Campbell
    This all day long.

We now have no real attacking  threat. Dont forget Small is a defender by trade.

The failure to strengthen in January is looking more foolish as the injuries mount & the is no back up.
    Bore off captain hindsight

I and most others on here could have written that post for you Golfie. It's up to you what you post but why not wait a while and see what this squad can deliver, Tyreece has been the difference lately but there are others in the side who have been outstanding as well and don't forget that a lot of people didn't think Tyreece would work as a forward, me included. Wait and see mate.

The failure to strengthen though wasn't through lack of trying. The lad from Col U inexplicably fell through.

Think it might have been Hylton - quite a lot of grey hair and struggling to keep up with Kai.

Couldn't really see anything other than a Wrexham win at home today considering they are 2nd and Burton are 21st tbh
We will go level with Wycombe on points if we win. Good place to be.

I’m sure it’s been asked on here before but what’s with the bandaged hands of Ramsey and Small . Macintyre has his hand bandaged today as well .
Is it a good luck thing or what ?

Just getting on the train at London Bridge. Charlton, Millwall and Palace fans around the station, can’t be often that all three of us are at home on the same Saturday?

    Is Kanu injured?
Yes and still in a protective boot. May be available towards the end of the season. Leaburn out for the season. Hope that helps.
