    Great save Mannion!

Lincoln corner ended up outside the box and a cracking volley was headed inside the right post but Will put on his Superman cape and pushed it away at full stretch.

    Last action of half, 0-1

Not impressed with referee. Missed quite a few free kicks on Charlton, Not missed one for Lincoln.

Very flimsy squad. 3 injuries and we look so average.
Three injuries but 2 of our best players. Difficult to play for the that
And the 3rd is the only other player we have who we could change the system for. This would screw anyone in the league.

Swap Anderson for Dixon at HT. Please.
I'd rather Aneke, no point having pace if Dixon doesnt have the experience to use it
Gotta start getting experience at some point - wouldn't mind if he was 16/17 but he's 20, if he is 'nowhere near' L1 level at that age then I don't think he is going to be the player we hope.
So long as you dont mind him potentially making crucial mistakes either at the business of the season
We're one nil down though, got to at least take an attacking risk, surely he is a better option going forward than Anderson? Who Dixon recently got into the Jamaica squad ahead of.
My point still stands... I'd have no problem with him coming on, and gaining experience, nor would I overly blame him or Jones if he made a big mistake... But I'm not everyone.

Plus simply throwing pace at the problem isn't the resolution
What change would you rather see? Or stick with this 11?
I'd potentially go with Aneke and take the battering ram option, or even Gilbert as someone else suggested, hasn't the latter played in the forward / wide role at times in the past?
They all have their flaws, Aneke can’t press and 45 minutes might be beyond him. Gilbert would benefit from movement and pace around him.

Both I’m sure will be on at some point given the score, I just don’t think we should rule out Dixon knowing the difference more pace makes to this team.

HT 0-1 Crap first half, we are so short without TC, time for Nathan to change things up drastically, maybe time for Chuks...

Anderson is great off the ball, but one of if not the worst in the squad with it at his feet. It’s not his fault but he needs to be moved or removed at half time

I'll be extremely disappointed if there aren't any changes whatsoever

Anderson reminds me of George Lapslie, works hard but ultimately has the technical ability of a L2 player.

Well that was a fun warm-up to the match... Cant wait for the actual game to get started :) - Wait, what do you mean. this isn't the actual League game is it?

Right, let’s see what’s changed for the second half. That first half was a great example of why pace on either wing was one of the most important changes that started this run since December.

Slightly stodgy looking side that, it does feel odd to replace TC with Anderson rather than someone more attacking, especially for a home game when we will have a lot of the ball

I can't work out what our formation will be, as none of the midfielders can play the TC role.
I don't think Anderson knew what his role was either, as we looked horribly unbalanced in that half. Half the time he seemed to be playing as a 9.

An odd choice instead of Gilbert, as we desperately need someone more creative out there.

McIntyre had been slightly shaky at the back too.

Get Anderson off ffs. He’s nowhere near. Not his fault. He should be a late sub for Coventry or Doherty. Not an attacking winger.

I like Anderson. He does a great job in front of the back line doing the unfashionable, niggly stuff and over the season I've found some of the criticism he's had a bit OTT.

However, he is NOT an attacking midfielder and deffo NOT a suitable replacement for TC at outside left.

Either move to his proper position of centre-half-back in the second half or replace him

It also has to be said that the rest of the midfield has been woeful so it's not just down to Karoy.

What a pile of shit. It must be me.  I’ve not seen the last two games.  This is as bad as the hoofball tripe that we were playing before Christmas.  Lincoln by far the better side and should be further ahead.  TC can’t be that important to us that we have have nothing else can he?

I can understand WHY Anderson has played there if Jones wanted him to have the same pressing as TC, but it just doesn't work going forward, he can't be kept on and I feel like it has to be done immediately, if we wait 10-15 minutes it may be too late by then

Much as I thought.  Lincoln are no pushovers. Well disciplined, dangerous and up for it.

We lack movement,  and must bring on attacking options very soon.

    I'd still take a point...

Really poor. Needs a rethink at halftime. Berry and Anderson have been totally anonymous. I'd be tempted to bring Mitchell on for Anderson, push Ramsey further forward and try Small in the advanced TC roll. Either Ahadme or Aneke for Berry as well.

One nil down to a great set piece, wouldn't we want ours to be like that. Plenty of ball, which Lincoln seem happy to let us have but no penatration. Anderson is working hard but he doesn't have the nous to give us a threat in that role. Getting the ball to Small has been our best option but we need more and better delivery, expect to see Chuks, Ahadme and Gilbert at some stage this half, it's been far too easy for the Lincoln centre backs so far.

Dare I say it but I'd have had Ahadme up top with Godders working off him. We are just lumping it up anyway and Anderson isn't getting involved. Needs a shake up at half time for sure.

Ultimately he's a square peg in a round hole.
No fault of his but it has just disrupted the whole flow of the side. Campbell is a regular out for Coventry. Coventry looks up and Anderson is nowhere to be seen.

Here's where Jones earns his corn.

Charlton subs warming up down in the Covered End/Curbsside corner ...

... but no Chuks with them.

    Possible HT change?

Not a game for Dixon imo. Lincoln are a big, physical side and I can see him getting bullied

Did the players do the upbeats walk? Very flat performance as far as I can tell.

Needs a shake up at half time. Still plenty of opportunity to win this.
