Your pitch's too small for you

Sorry for the lateness, and I admit bizarre comment, but while at Colchester I thought the pitch looked tiny.
So I checked the Rothmans and it says that it is 106m x 68m.
Most other grounds seem to be around 112 x 75m but when I looked up the Valley it gave the pitch size as 101.5m x 65.8m.
A mistake? But it was the same last year.
So I went back to 95/6 when the Rothmans said the Valley pitch was 110 yds x 73 yds.
So is it the imperial to metric conversion or do we really have a smaller pitch than Colchester?
Are we so short of cash that we've sold some of it off already or has Paddy gone a bit mad with the chalk machine.
We need to be told!

Perhaps it's something to do with how much the famous inflatable pitch cover can cope with. Has that been mended yet, ready for the new Ice Age?0

i thought ours was quite short in length after the charity game. Or maybe it was my blistering pace?0

Seemed bloody enormous when I hopped over the fence at the end of the Preston game in 1975. It must have shrunk since, or possibly I may have got bigger . . .0

I always thought the pitch was narrow, looking at how much width there was from the side of the 18yd box to the side line. That info would suggest it.0
