He was certainly playing to the cameras, that's for sure...total waste of space at times, may as well have got someone from the crowd and shoved a whistle in his hand...

We've had a lot worse for sure. But he was very pennickity and gave a lot of soft free kicks. His fussing at corners at corners got very annoying. Long lectures, then nothing happenned except occassional free kicks to defenders. And how he only added on 5 minutes is beyond me.

Yes, he should have added on 2 minutes just for the time HE wasted due to his interventions at corners.

No coincidence that the 3 players at the bottom of the rankings were all hooked first, as all 3 had poor games.

Out of interest why no marks for Mitchell and Dixon? I thought if you played 30(?) minutes you were eligible

sorry but no, the stats I provide take quite a lot of my time and that is enough for me. Also on what criteria would you make the table, at present Gilbert would be top which is a bit silly. If you are anyone else wish to compile the table please be my guest.

Top 5 (ignoring those playing few games)
    Jones 7.15
    Ramsay 7.11
    Coventry 6.72
    T Campbell 6.64
Edwards 6.64           (which is close to how I'd rate)

Gillesphey had some really poor games early on and as a result got marked down (probably rightly) but has completely turned it around and if only the last 10 or so games were taken into account then would probably be up there.

Agreed, but although called player of the year, we all know it’s player of the season, not player of the last 10 games.

True...but I'm trying to blank out memories of the first half of the season!
