  • But good pubs on the way to break up the journey. (Which is really only half an hour walk). We will be in the Kingston arms. Decent beer and food looks good enough for us to give it a try this year.
We went to the Kingston Arms pre-match last season and really enjoyed it. Post-match, we went to the Alexandra Arms and the very impressive Calverley's Brewery on a very dawdling walk back to the station.

This is one away trip I'm really going to miss. The other place I really liked the season before was The Maypole - a fine beer selection and really good Italian pub food, plus a nice walk along the river towards the ground.

Really looking forward to Saturday. Starting off this time in The Haymakers, which is quite near Cambridge North and a 25 minute walk to the stadium.
  • can't make this one

  • Going and really looking forward to it. Expecting a tight game but to come away with three points.
  • My 2nd time to their ground. 1st time was rushed so didn’t get to see to much of the city prior to kick off. Area around the ground is a bit of a dump, so will have a look around the touristy part and get a cab over to the ground.

Assuming there are plenty of nice pubs around the university etc.

  • Will have to collect a replacement ticket from the Cambridge ticket office, as weirdly my ticket for Cambridge and Wycombe are yet to arrive.
  • Sun is shining here in Cambridgeshire, going to be a cracking day
  • Don’t forget your sun tan cream?
  • Not sure if already mentioned on here, but any away pub suggestions ?

Yeah definitely sunny enough for that, can’t remember if the new away stand is in the shade or not
