    Likewise here as with League 1, United will fold for the same reasons, to be so close and then end up in the play-offs.

    They had a fantastic start but then had a stumble and were out of the top 3 at one time, Walsall were flying.
    I'm pleased for Darren Moore who I think is a decent manager, quite a nice bloke as well.

    And the gap from top to 5th is the same as 5th to bottom. If you were a fan of the 3rd placed side at the end of the season and didn't go up via the playoffs, you might feel somewhat cheated.

    I wonder what odds would have been available at the beginning of the season on Bromley's 33 year old, Michael Cheek, being the top scorer in the whole of the EFL. Given what Birmingham paid for Jay Stansfield (rumoured to be £20m but the Club say nearer £12-£14m with add-ons), plying his trade just one division above, that will be quite a feat if Cheek achieves that accolade. In fact, he has not just found the net 21 times but has 7 assists to his name and no player is likely to have more total goal involvements either.
