  • Bodie update…..

Tuesday this week Bodie went back to the hospital in Basildon for a check up

All is well - the implants in his elbows have not moved, and the metal plates etc are also superbly in place - the surgeon who operated on him is very impressed with his progress

Bodie is walking strongly and essentially back to normal - he still can’t go off the lead (another 6 weeks for that) as he can’t run just yet - he is however out of the crate and allowed to roam the house with his brother Buster

He has straight away come to bed with me most of the night - so lovely cuddles with him - delightful

He is straight back to terrorising his brother 😂

Last night however he was a git, and did a dump in the living room

    Such a relief

I bet that's what he thought.

Good news, pleased to hear he's doing so well.

  • Never was a huge sh1t celebrated so much by so few!

    Way to go Bodie 🤣🤣👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️
  • Just a little plug on here for our new family business to be run by my wife, coming soon, dog grooming in Bexleyheath….she’s a few weeks away from completing her training

    Thanks

Seems the Corporates now own 60% of vet practices and it's not good news.

They know that so many people will pay whatever it takes to get their pet well, its all a bit sordid.

Vets in the news in terms of their targets to fleece customers as much as possible. We have used Vets at Home for convenience and they have been good over the years with JJ to be fair. It is noticeable how they try and upsell though. In December JJ was was poorly after his annual booster for quite a few weeks. On talking to my neice she said her vet told her that her dog didn't need one as it was small and it will have had enough of the vaccine in its system. This demonstrates possibly the difference. We are not giving JJ the booster this year. He will be nine and i'm sure they will be insistent on him needing it but we will resist.

Even if he doesn't, he'll get the blame

  • Dumpling looks perfect to me 🤩❤️
  • Beautiful little pup !
  • Not really a fan of dogs or dumplings but that is one cute puppy!
  • Our recently acquired rescue cats (3ofthem) seem to have a shit fetish,  if 1 goes they all want to inspect it and add to the pile.

Short video of my little Pepperoni doing flyball, showing up a lot of people who tell us she isn't a real dog and dachshunds are only good for handbags and as lapdogs! She's set to become one of only a handful of daxies on the UK Flyball circuit
That looks brilliant, I'll show it to Eloise and get her to see if Dumpling likes it.

  • Everything crossed for today's game.

He does have brown on his hind, just can’t see it in the photo.
