  • Hope he's okay.
My thoughts exactly, he’s probably the last manager in the premier league you’d think of being in hospital at the moment.

I guess because he seems so young, yet also seems to have been around a while.

Former Charlton boy Jason Tindall taking the reins this weekend.  Good luck to both men

    Get well soon Eddie Howe.

I didn't realize until this morning that Jason Tindall played for Senrab the boys team from the East end that produced a myriad of young players including John Terry, Bowyer, Curbs, Konchesky, Fortune etc and it was Jimmy Tindall, Jason's dad who started the boys team in 1961 when he was 15 years old.

Senrab is Barnes spelt backwards after Barnes st, Stepney where Jimmy came from and Jason was born in mile end.

Not a lot of people know that !
Played against Senrab agood few times in my youth.

    I did lol .. Feb  2021ForeverAddickted said:
Get him down here as Bowyer's assistant, did the two come through @ Charlton around the same time?

Jackson can be coach / U23 Manager if Euell goes to Wimbledon and can learn from them
My reply .. they did .. through SENRAB, the brainchild of Jason Tindall's father ..  the club has produced innumerable top players .. possibly the best 'nursery' and talent spotting outfit in England/UK .. Senrab F.C. - Wikipedia

I read that he's a workaholic, gets in at 6am every day without fail, that kind of thing. Not that I am speculating on what is wrong with him - hopefully it's nothing too serious.

workaholic lifestyle, catch a cold, ignore it, chest infection ensues = pneumonia
Rehydration and antibiotics, few days r & r, he'll be right as rain

Glad to hear he’s on the mend.

Am I the only one who didn’t know he is Don Howe’s son?

No - there's at least two of us.

    Impossible tatters.
  • This should cheer Edddie Howe up. All the pundits, including that highly successful manager, Paul Merson, got it spot on when Howe took on the relegation bound Newcastle

  • Hopefully one day he will become England’s manager.

I've been a fan of his for years right back to his early Bournemouth days when I read about the depths he would go to in order to learn, his man management and how hard working he is. I also hope he will be England's manager although he will have to adjust to not having the players week in, week out. That said, there will be absolutely nothing that he will not know about our opposition.
  • Another great performance tonight to keep him well satisfied with his team in his absence.

Peace of mind that his lads are in good hands will help his recovery no end.
  • Riddle me this??

I assume Nick Pope was made MOM because of his wonderful penalty save from the power drive by Eze 🤨
