With Arsenal, Barcelona and Inter all into the semi final, that means that 3 out of the top 4 in the league phase are in the semi final.

The only top 4 team that didn’t get to a semi final? Liverpool.
  • Semi finalists:

    1 Italian team
    1 Spanish team
    1 English team
    1 French team

yep agree - if it was any other English team still in it I'd want them to win it - but I've an irrational hatred of Arsenal so hope PSG tear them a new one.

to be fair they were superb over the 2 legs and Rice / Saka / MLS are unbelievable from an England perspective.

it's just the Arsenal fans I can't stand....far too many twats in the office and around the City, would have to WFH for a few months if they actually bloody win the thing
  • Inter or Barca are winning it IMO. Hopefully Inter.

    Champions League Final:

Never won a Champions League before (but both have made the final before tbf) vs Someone who has

    Semi Final Facts:
One is a re-run of the 2009/10 semi final, the other a re-run of the group stages.

Arsenal have never lost to PSG. Barcelona have only lost twice to Inter.
  • PSG Inter final it is then.
  • Despise Arsenal but was rooting for them over the two legs. Thought they were magnificent. Villa showed that PSG can be vulnerable and i sincerely hope they can do them.
  • It's a great semi-final lineup because usually there is a clear favourite, but this year you could see any of them winning it.

  • I have a terrible feeling it'll be Arsenal, I'd have them favourites over PSG

    Corrected that

Edit: I mean, did you see the shots of the crowd - absolutely minging with ultras. They are the Palarse of France and I feel sick just seeing that stupid cartoon badge of the ugliest radio mast in the world.
  • PSG even have a merchandise shop in Oxford Street  :D
  • Until it get torched if they beat Arsenal. I am joking by the way.
  • Want Arsenal to get done in the final by Barcelona again.
  • I fancy Arsenal to win this. Ironically having had injuries to all their strikers, Merino has come into the team and brought a new dimension up front and especially in midfield.
Kiwior is quietly doing the business as the replacement for the excitable Gabriel, BUT tough guy Partey will be missed in the 1st leg v PSG
  • Bye bye Ancelotti.

Who do we think the next Madrid manager will be?

    I'll go with Xabi Alonso.
Sky Sports are reporting that the Copa del Rey final on 26 April will apparently be his last game in charge, and he won't even get to finish the La Liga season.
  • Don't think there's any other contenders bar Xabi Alonso. Wonder if he'll bring Florian Wirtz with him?

  • Klopp's name has also been mentioned
  • Klopp’s name will just be the Spanish media generating clicks/content, no way he goes back into management so soon when he has a cushy job with Red Bull
  • I am still puzzled why Emre took Rashford off.

Probably resting him for Saturday.  Villa v. Newcastle - big game.
  • Surprised at the criticism aimed at the Madrid v Arsenal ref. Ironically the only time that he fell for it when a Madrid player threw himself to the ground was on the non-penalty. Seen so many Madrid games when they get plenty of soft decisions but not last night. Thought he had a really good game
  • Blatant penalty to Spurs that, that was a terrible challenge
  • Blatant penalty to Spurs that, that was a terrible challenge

Surprised that Madison managed to play on after that challenge even for two minutes. Thank fuck for VAR in that instance as a terrible injustice nearly happened as the ref thought it was just a coming together!
