MANNION: - 7 Very brave under a barrage of high balls. People who criticise his kicking, should look at our winning goal.
RAMSAY: - 6 Not at his best, but solid enough.
JONES: - 8 Imperious again. Won header after header. Never knowingly beaten.
McINTYRE: - 5 Started well, winning a lot of headers, but inexplicably decided he was playing beach volley ball. After that, I think he was trying too hard, and more and more went wrong.
SMALL: - 6 The now usual curate's egg performance. Alternatively running the defence ragged, to running the ball out of play under no pressure.
COVENTRY: - 7 Not at his best, but still a strong driving force in the 2nd half.
BERRY: - 8.5 MotM Well taken goal, and got into good positions consistently. At one time, in the 2nd half, had had 3 good chances at goal. Which was all we'd had. Tires, yes, but never leaves anything on the pitch.
DOCHERTY: - 6 The least impact of all the midfield. Didn't win many tackles, and didn't drive the team on very well either.
EDWARDS: - 7.5 The usual sold display. Still performed well when moved into central defence.
GODDEN: - 8 I've said it before, a joy to watch. One of the most complete strikers we've had in years. Never in doubt when he got onto Chuks flick.
CAMPBELL: - 6.5 Was doubled and tripled up on when he got the ball, but needs to make better decisions when on the ball.
ANEKE: - 6 Not the force of nature hd used to be, (his legs have most definitely gone) but won a lot of headers, which was needed.

Referee: 0.5 terrible ref the handbags at the end was entirely predictable as he was letting their no 18 tell him what to do. Not sure any of our yellows were deserved. No complaints on the penalty but he consistently gave us nothing and allowed Northampton to foul our players while stopping play for when we did it back (and getting his cards out).1 -
