I am running the marathon Sunday, the only benefit of a Charlton defeat Saturday is this….

I have bought tickets for the beamback but if anybody has any suggestions for elsewhere then il take them…

How old are you? You may or may not be suitable for Belushi - apparently ;-)
    37. Coming down from Bedfordshire and staying with family in Blackheath on Saturday night.
    37?

Must be one heck of a home!

I’m starting to think we have NEVER won a game shown at the Valley lol

Technically, every game for years now has been beamed back to the Valley for Charlton TV. Nathan hasn’t done too badly with those.

Going to be in Swansea for the game so will either be in the hotel watching on a tablet or finding a local boozer. Still grumpy about having to go to Wales and not for the football!

Claus and tackle don’t normally belong in the same sentence but I remember that ball sailing over Weavers head

Less of a tackle and more the defender kicking it against Claus' foot! The image of Weaver trying to scramble back is priceless.

£10 to watch a TV whilst drinking £7 pints of piss, I’ll give it a miss.
    It's free on Sky TV+
It’s the main game on Sky so will be on Sky Sports MainEvent (401) Sky Sports Football (403)
Great, we can piss off the yanks, and spoil their "Big Moment" live on Sky at the same time...😂
Is that their Yanks or our Yanks?

Just wondering why would that fame have had a beam back?

2-1 United I think - I went to OT, didn't know we had a beam back - my Dad might have preferred that with it being an evening game on a school night and us getting back at daft o'clock!!

I'm not sure why it was beamed back, it was on a Sunday though as Leeds were playing Thursday nights in Europe so I'm guessing that's why.

I think everyone is missing the point on past beambacks.   They have always been against teams in England.  And, while it's true we have a patchy record with beambacks from other parts of this country, Saturday's game against Wrexham will be the first beamback from abroad.

As far as I am aware, we've never lost an "international" beamback.
