I suspect the decision will be made very soon. The EFL overturned a league 2 red card inbetween Friday and Monday’s games so I’d have thought it will definitely be announced before Saturday

I think it would be up to us to announce not the EFL/FA, my guess is that there would be some mechanism to let Wrexham/the rest of the league know though

The @FAspokesperson account on Twitter announces them I think. Sure the club will put something out as well

We are bias, I would like to hear from one of the neutrals on CL, like that decent guy,  @MillwallFan if he has seen the footage when Chuks and Leahy finally came crashing together and both were down for a count of ten but only our gentle giant Aneke gets a red card 🤷🏿‍♂️ when surely it's just a yellow for both for continuing to tussel.

I presume this where Chris Parkes experience may be utilised to best navigate the process?

Surely the EFL can do what they have done with Reading & delay any decision until May 5th 😀

Chris no longer works for the club…..but if asked, under the circumstances, he would most likely give his opinion of how things operate in such an instance.
He is not actually obliged to do anything, although him using his knowledge in such a case may be most welcomed if sought…..he never has and likely never will turn down his lovely red boys if help is required . 😏

I thought he was still advising / supporting the new club secretary?

    Well…..yes and no.
Remember he’s not obligated to do anything at all.
How long is a piece of string.🤔

Amazing to give a red card if you are looking elsewhere when the incident happened. And I don't remember him asking a lino for a second opinion.
    they have ear pieces
    4th official gets a say
and referee Finnie was laughably inconsistent throughout
The EFL back their dismal referees unless it is mistaken identity

    It isn’t the EFL’s decision

Have a look at their fans forum.
Before kick off they discribe their player as “diving Danny” and “Diver Leahy”
    After the game:-
“One of Leahy’s dives finally worked and he’s managed to get a Charlton player suspended against Wrexham” and
“Runs at a player and dives. How shit is this ref to send him off”.
He is a cheat with form.
Respect to their fans for not liking him for it.
This needs to be sent to Charlton, might just help our case.

That’s just not true though is it - Ryan Inniss had a red card rescinded a year or 2 back as it was deemed he hadn’t prevented a goal scoring opportunity by committing the foul.

An independent panel decide as well, not the EFL.

It was mistaken identity, he meant to  send off Leahy for kicking Chuks and being a total prat...
Also another example of mistaken identity when the EFL thought he was a qualified ref in the first place...

They should also send a copy of this thread as some of the comments are clear evidence that the ref got it wrong.

I seem to recall Chuks himself had a red rescinded in his first spell, too.

Appeal unsuccessful. “It baffles me how it hasn’t been [overturned]” - NJ

Also seems to suggest the ref said it was due to an elbow which clearly didn’t happen

Thats ridiculous!! - What did the FA look at who we were facing on Saturday whilst making their decision?

His elbow clearly never makes contact with Leahy

Where is the footage NJ spoke about?
Every piece I've seen is inconclusive.

Don't think we can transfer him to Wrexham at this stage of the season.

He'll sign for Millwall and play all 46 games for them  :D

It’s pretty clear from every angle that Chuks doesn’t elbow the Wycombe player in the face, there might be a shoulder movement but clearly no elbow

We will get promoted despite the authorities then and use them as motivation.

We’ve not had any real good fortune to rely on over the season  and we will have to continue to get over the line through our own endeavours.
    That will make it sweeter.
