    This is what Wrexham have done most of the season. I've been on the "they can't keep getting away with it" thing for several months. It looks like they can.

    You're assuming Wrexhams positive start would have continued unapposed throughout the second half, and we would never gain foothold. It could have gone either way I guess.

    If we can get an early goal we can make this nervy, but despite a couple of moments it hasn’t looked very likely. Small missing means almost no threat down the right. Aneke missing means no x-factor on the bench. Maybe Kanu on for Watson and try to play with a bit more width down both sides.

    He’s one that the Wrexham defenders can’t keep up with and the WB looking after him is also booked. Would be crazy to take him off

    Really frustrating first half. As expected we miss Berry and Small massively. 

    Wrexham have been good, organised and aggressive. (Like we usually are) unfortunately we’re the ones getting out battled here.

    HT 2-0, we needed half time to get some semblance of order into our play, succumbed to two very quick goals, but starting to get back into things towards the end of the first half...
    Come on Nathan, now's the time to earn your corn and change things up a bit

    Nothing to lose. Mix it up, keep up the press and see if we can muster something.

    We’ve made a few errors and they’ve scored 2 goals. Other than that, we’ve probably edged it. 

    My only concern is how light this squad it. We can’t be going into a playoff game with Watson at RWB.

    We have got into it a bit more but they are so much stronger than us and very direct. Early goal in the 2nd half might give us a chance but not sure I can see a goal coming, they are right up for it.

    We’ve done well not to capitulate after the second but in truth have barely laid a glove on them. At least we are not going to miss automatic by a point which would have been an absolute bummer given the mince we served until Christmas. Regroup for the playoffs.  Play the reserves next week.

    2 very soft goals given away. We have a goal in us here but needed 1 before the break to stand any real chance of a come back.
