Mike Peters from The Alarm

Has passed away today. Aged 66. Diagnosed with leukaemia years ago & known for his charity work ever since.

The Declaration was one of my favourite albums from the 80's. 68 Guns & Where were you hiding 2 of my favourite songs.

Sad loss.

RIP.

Sad news. One of my schoolmates became friends with the band when they were emerging, Mike and the rest of them were really good to him. RIP

No words today. Mike was inspirational and a lovely human. Saw Alarm so many times. First time at Cellar Bar Thames Poly in 1983. RIP. The 68 guns will never die

That's sad. RIP. Saw them just before their breakthrough in the cellar bar of Thames Poly Woolwich.  Did an acoustic set and not many punters. Was really good.

My first ever gig. Tunbridge Wells Assembly Hall. I only went because my sister was a fan, but it opened my eyes and ears to the power of live music.
    RIP
  • Saw him when he was playing with Big Country, was very good.

    RIP
