Think we might see Gilbert start.
Funny you should mention him. My son just called me to say he had seen Alex Gilbert just as my son was leaving David Lloyd in Kidbrooke. My son went back to try find him but couldn't best guess is Alex went through to the spa where my son can't go as he isnt old enough.

Would be criminal to risk anyone tomorrow so expect to see plenty of changes. Would be great to see Mbick get a start which seems quite likely.

A blessing that Burton are safe as that likely takes the competitive edge off of things, expecting a comfortable 2-0 win and hoping we have a fitter squad to choose from for the playoffs.

Rest the lot of them, especially Jones. No, not that Jones, Nathan. Give his voice (and finger nails) a rest and stick him in the Director's box.

Should not see Jones , Gilly Coventry Berry Doc Campbell or Godden anywhere near the starting line up tomorrow ….. a win tomorrow will seem like a lose if we lose key players for the play offs because of a sending off or injury

Really cannot predict it. The team news will be so important. Just hope we can sneak a win and avoid Stockport. But Burton have a free hit and although they will be on the beach this could be tricky. 0-0, off to Stockport on a Thursday.

Reading are the dark horse, not Stockport.

I would say Stockport are the favourites going into the play-offs, not the dark horses.

In my opinion he won't make wholesale changes.
Injured players obviously won't be risked, otherwise I anticipate our strongest side to start with substitutes utilised promptly depending on how the game pans out

According to our Valley Express WhatsApp group there is going to be a lap of honour/appreciation after the game, a rousing speech by NJ and the POTY presentations. Don’t know if it’s all true, just passing it on.

Might mean some fans get home late for dinner 😂😂

That is true. The POTY will be awarded out on the pitch.

First game at The Valley since Wigan at home last season.

After a season of following from CL and Charlton TV with a 7 hour time difference, looking forward to being back for today and play offs.

Nearly sold out. Only about 40 singles left in the Covered End lower. As we're playing against a professional team and likely to weaken ours, i expect a 1-1 or 0-1 defeat, in front of the near-full house.

1-0 win. A nice early goal would be helpful.

Not expecting to see Small, Berry or Jones in the squad. Think Godden/Doherty will be off around the half time mark for Kanu & Anderson.

They are definitely the dark horses. (Stockport)
If they are the dark horses who the hell are the favourites?

I'd make Stockport favourites, Wycombe probably need a win today to get some confidence back, we need to get everyone fit and Orient/Reading will just be delighted to be there. In truth no one knows!

Unfortunately I think we are favourites for promotion and that counts against us. we are better being the underdogs. Before the Wrexham game last week it really did seem possible that we could beat them because of the run we had been on. It began to feel very uncomfortable because it started putting pressure on ourselves. Of course after 15 minutes, the nerves and pressure had gone because we were destined to lose the game. If Stockport won today, this would be a good thing as that then makes them the favourites for promotion and as underdogs, if we got to the final to play them then I think we stand a chance. If we meet them in the semifinals then it’s a much harder quest.

If wycombe win today are Stockport still favourites?
