I've said it before, the fact I'm on 860 loyalty points and not in phase 1 is ridiculous.

That's 400 loyalty points from aways and if we had a smaller allocation I could potentially miss out. There's no way Valley Gold should trump 18+ aways. That's over £400 roughly just on the tickets.

The real humdinger is that someone with VG and 620 points, could buy a ticket for someone who has never been to a Charlton game. I don't necessarily mind when it's for an actual Charlton fan, but it should have to be assigned to a Charlton fan with a reasonable amount of points at least.
Mate I think you'd be amazed at how few people are in the top tiers. There is absolutely no way phase 2 misses out.

And if we went somewhere like CVPM again, the club disregard Valley Gold and just give tickets to the top 230 odd fans by points only.

Someone with 860 points will never, ever miss out on a ticket.

The “Humdinger” applies throughout, what’s stopping you getting a second ticket in phase 2 for a mate who’s never been at the expense of someone who might miss out in phase 4?

Finally made it into Phase One priority after Wrexham and I'm now in a queue just to get onto the site. Brilliant.

Ticket system was pretty good. If it helps give people a guide I Was 844 in queue at 11, estimated I’d get in at 11.08 and got in at 11.08

Thing is Valley Gold benefits the Club. No matter how many away tickets we sell over a season the benefit to the Club is zero. And this isn't a dig but if you are attending that many away games and spending that amount of money then surely £10 a month for Valley Gold isn't too much of a stretch? If it is miss an away game or two to cover the annual cost of Valley Gold.

But VG is being given priority.

Those with 620 points and VG are being given priority over those with 620 points

Those with 580 points and VG are being given priority over those with 580 points

Still doing the same for me 665 loyalty and VG but seems to be blanking me when I go to add to basket which is odd.

Is the ticket office open to go down and do it in person like the old days? Couldn’t beat queuing at 5am back in 1998

Yep, that has now happened to me too. System buckling under demand perhaps. Have emailed the ticket office so hope they pick up but may not be working of course.

I reckon if every person who had the 620 and had Valley Gold bought two, I'd miss out. Fortunately not enough people will.

Because I'm sensible and wouldn't do that. I'd only ever take one of my Charlton relatives or friends to a game who goes a significant amount of games. Which was my point, it should be assigned to a Charlton fan on the site.

Thanks. Problem is presumably we'll lose out places in the queue as only allowed 10 minutes to do the business !
