The “Humdinger” applies throughout, what’s stopping you getting a second ticket in phase 2 for a mate who’s never been at the expense of someone who might miss out in phase 4?
I reckon if every person who had the 620 and had Valley Gold bought two, I'd miss out. Fortunately not enough people will.

Because I'm sensible and wouldn't do that. I'd only ever take one of my Charlton relatives or friends to a game who goes a significant amount of games. Which was my point, it should be assigned to a Charlton fan on the site.

No chance. Like absolutely zero. There's a reason the tiers are set at the level they are. It isn't guess work.

Would be useful if the club put out an update stating the number of tickets sold at the end of each phase

Yep, that has now happened to me too. System buckling under demand perhaps. Have emailed the ticket office so hope they pick up but may not be working of course.
Thanks. Problem is presumably we'll lose out places in the queue as only allowed 10 minutes to do the

Am sure that will be the case

Anyone had any success in trying to collect from the valley?
It shut until 2 days before game…,& trying  to call them, well…🤨
I know but the article clearly gave dates and times you could collect but when purchasing, it only gives post as an option.

Can't sign in or add to basket. Is it only open to mega loyalty points ??
It's not letting me go past the "add to basket" stage for Wycombe away tickets. I'm in Phase One so it lets me in but won't proceed any further. Frustrating.

You’re grossly overestimating the amount of people that fall into that category.

Gents, 1848 allocation, we surely have 924 Charlton fans with 620 points and Valley gold? Be very surprised if we don't.

There won’t even be close to 900 people with 600+ points, let alone with VG on top

I wouldn't have thought nearly a 1000 people have both.

If so, then most away games in league one would never get past phase 2 or 3, which isn't the case.

OK, I tried logging in with a device I do not ordinarily use to buy tickets/log into my account and managed to get in within 1 minute and purchase the tickets with no issues. For those struggling with their usual log in device may be worth trying the same. Good luck all!

That Valley Gold cut off date is a bit of a piss take. So you could have bought it last week and jumped the queue? I’m phase 2 so will get mine anyway but I really think that should be at least having had valley gold for 3 months rather than a week
I must admit I always thought it had been 6 months historically, but maybe wrong. I would be interested to know how many joined recently.

But VG is being given priority.

Those with 620 points and VG are being given priority over those with 620 points

Those with 580 points and VG are being given priority over those with 580 points

Unfortunately not for me on 560. Oh well.

I'm confident you'll be able to get tickets today.
Maybe try different options such as try on a different device (suggested above) and ring the ticket office at the same time.
I'm awaiting clarification from my mate.

This suggested there were over 700 people ahead of me in the queue at 11:00am! Not sure if it was just one queue for home and away tickets, or just away tickets. Either way, an impressive number quick of the starting blocks.

Managed to book my away ticket at the estimated time with no problems - although there was no option to collect. Appreciate that’s not everyone’s experience though.
