  • My tickets have just arrived! Was quite concerned that I would have to run the gauntlet of trying to get/collect duplicates at Wycombe’s stadium.

maybe a call to Dartford Sorting office to see if theyre in the sorting frame?
  • The Wycombe away ticket page has been taken down, so refreshing the page for ticket returns is no longer a tactic for those looking.

Ah that’s a pain, it’s such a faff to get to Wycombe’s ground that having to add in the faff of needing to collect tickets makes the whole experience even faffier.

Same, I've just been in touch with the ticket office on the phone and they said if they haven't arrived tomorrow morning to email them and they will arrange with Wycombe for duplicates to pick up.

Someone is on e-mail duty tomorrow apparently.

Exactly, that's why I just collected ours from The Valley reception.
Mind you they have got a decent fan's zone and the weather is going to be sunny.

I intended to collect, but for the first hour or so they were on sale it wasn't offering that as an option online for me, only post so in the end just decided to take the chance as never had an issue before. Of course, this time, they've not turned up.

Same happened to us in that the only option was post even though we much prefer to collect.  Fortunately ours turned up in Wednesday's post.
  • Just been offered a ticket for Sunday by a fellow lifer 😀. If anyone is driving to Adams Park from East Sussex and fancies a fellow traveller in exchange for petrol money please message me. Thanks.
  • I just knew our poxy postal service wouldn't deliver in time.
I guess will just have to add ticket collection at Adams Park to the away day experience.

We've got to pick up our tickets from Wycombe.  Does anyone know if that little fan zone bit will be open pre match? Im assuming so, but just trying to work out pre match drinking plans!

Apparently it’s a nightmare getting beer there due to the queues (sounds like our Fan Zone!). Someone mentioned pub, the Hour Glass, that’s supposedly decent and a 15 min walk away from the stadium. Maybe get your tickets, see if the Fan Zone is any good and if it’s a nightmare head to that pub?
  • Pretty sure the Hour Glass will be home only as the only pub near the ground.

The fan zone area isn't bad, but the away section does get crowded. If you're discreet you can always try the beer dispensers which are outside the main building.

How Wycombe Wanderers' season has helped the Hour Glass pub

Mr Tomlinson believes the successes from Wanderers’ season have had a positive knock-on effect around the town.

He said: “We have seen lots of Wycombe fans visit us in recent months, and we have also been swamped by away supporters.

“There has been a good mix of home and away fans in the pub, which is something we love to do and see.

“This has been very beneficial for us because in the long term, we want to put that money back into the pub.

  • That's good to hear, I guess Wycombe are amongst the least partisan fans, so mixing is ok.
