any one heard about the JS stand

I'll be surprised if there is not an announcement tomorrow saying online sales only for about 1500.

2 seats available on the ticket site, in the rarely seen blacked out East stand B block - right at the back, almost together. look like great seats; £27 each

    Wycombe have been told:

“Tickets in the away end for this game are guaranteed up until 4pm on Tuesday; after this point, a decision will be made whether or not to convert some of Wanderers’ allocation into a home area.”

    Happy about that
Absolutely. Let’s get as many home fans in as possible.

Their forum saying they’d sold 900 on Friday, think they’ll struggle to hit enough to stop us selling in the JS stand
  • Let's hope they don't have a last minute rush of 1,000 new ticket sales. Would be interesting to see how many tickets we'd sell in the JS given the proximity of the likely sale times to the match. Assuming, that is, any extra tickets go on sale at all.

Sounds like the split is on, no way they're shifting enough tickets.

    Yesterdays attendance ...6,585 (1,848 Addicks)
photo on CAFC site shows the empty seats
Who made the decision in the club to give 3000 seats in  Jimmy Seed stand to WW?
Another own goal along with ticket fiasco and the "fan" twitter film..
It could easily have been segregated  & extra stewards bought in, the extra tickets sold would have covered the costs. It's denied potentially another 1000-1500 Addicks attending and  a near complete wall of support in Fortress Valley.

The latest news is that Wycombe have until 4.00pm on Tuesday to tell Charlton exactly how many tickets they have sold (I believe it is in the region of 1200 tickets)

If Wycombe have indeed only sold 1200 tickets, then Charlton are considering splitting the Jimmy Seed stand in two, and use the empty area for extra Charlton supporters.

If I remember correctly that is exactly what happened in the Doncaster Play Off match.

Pretty much a given that there will now be an extra 1500 home tickets on sale on Wednesday then.

Except we've already been proactive in speaking to Wycombe and requesting half of the JS capacity be returned, so we can look at splitting for home fans.

I think Doncaster brought just shy of 1400 for the semi final. Seems like Wycombe will bring a similar number as them. Let’s hope the club get the go ahead to segregate the JSS and can get tickets on sale for them on the Wednesday.

Can anyone recommend a road to park on if I’m getting there around 4pm ish? Something I can stick in the sat nav?
Thanks to those who have suggested parking areas but I’m struggling to find where they are and where I can leave the car at that time, get some food and get away for a 4 hour drive home after the game.

I first went to the valley in 1963 and have followed the addicks ever since including plenty of away games. I stopped going the last 2years as the football was shite. Karl Robinson was the start of the demise of exciting football with the side to side boring stuff. I’m a pensioner now and live in Brighton so to pay out for a ticket and train fare is a big hole in my budget. Why am I going to go without a few dinners sometimes to watch boring games? I  don’t like losing but that’s part of football and as long as I’ve enjoyed it it’s worth it to me. Im 70 now and love CAFC it’s been part of my life for 62 years. I got the bug again in November and seen improvement game after game. So yes us oldies will be back if the football is good.
My partners parents live in peacehaven, both in their mid 70’s, he regularly travels up from Brighton station to QPR games

I've had this when there was some adblocking/popupblocking on the browser, which I turned off and all was well.  Using anything like that? (looks like Safari?  I'm not up on Apple devices, sorry).

No chance whatsoever. There are ten trains to London after 10pm with the last at 12.05. There are a dozen in the other direction.

There are four after 11pm to London and six towards Kent.

More like 1200-1300 once seats are blocked out for separation of fans right?
