Excellent job in selling out the Jimmy seed. Does that mean we’ll have just shy of 25,000 in the Charlton ends tonight?
The capacity figure includes the media gantry and the directors’ box, as well as all the wheelchair spaces. I’ve seen comment about it being reduced by safe standing, but did they actually remove any seats? I’ve not been up there so I don’t know. They won’t have changed the rake of the steps underneath.
  • Valley Express is no longer for sale ;)

Would this be record gate receipts for a home game Airman.

The announcement for the safe standing mentions removing 6 ST holders seats, no idea if they had to remove more that were non ST seats

Is it worth buying VG today in case we get to Wembley as a non-ST holder? Would I be considered for priority access if I purchased one month VG today?
It won’t be worth it. For the 1st leg you needed VG before 30/4. I’d imagine it’d be the same for Wembley (if we got there).
I have VG but it didn’t work for me for the semi priority anyway.
Mine worked just it sold out 😂
  • Wycombe are a non league side in every aspect apart from their team and league position.

Will always be poorly supported, as would the likes of Forest Green, Salford and Barnet.

I genuinely can not believe we’ve sold out especially that quickly!
I mean people just coming for the sickness of it all
    give em what they want
    we want penalties !!!
No we f*cking don't. My ticker was growling at me in 2019 - and I'm six years older!

I wanna feel that extra rush of adrenaline and blood pumping around
I get that from a Tuesday night home game in December against Cheltenham with 6k in the ground.

Someone earlier on this thread mentioned our capacity is now 26,875. Cant remember if that was an estimate or they were in the know.

Transfermarkt says 26,875 which is probably where they figure same from.

  • Fair play. Unreal effort from the fanbase
  • Why does a game of football get you like this?
    I’m absolutely bricking it.
  • "Home end" sold out.

  • Just found out IF we get through we have the same end at Wembley as 2019....is it written?
  • Sold out! No way.

Have I left it too late to get a ticket?

    Club is a shambles.
    There's a game on?

Is this the thread for Wembley tickets?
Sorry sold out already... Hope you enjoy your tour around London for 48-hours ;)

On a serious note, are the flights refundable if you cant get a ticket? (I'd be surprised)
  • Can anyone guess what the ticket restrictions will be like? Points based?

I looked back not so long ago to the 2019 final.

First batch were for current ST holders, next season ST holders and VG could get 4 each.

Then it was over 100 points then I can’t remember.

2019 Went to general sale in the end.
  • In 2019 I got one on general sale. I have a job with highly flexible hours so I was fine.

Leyton Orient have been allocated the East Side of Wembley.

That means that Charlton or Wycombe will occupy the West Side. As far as I remember, this is the same side Charlton had for the 2019 playoff final.
Does this mean we'd also be given Boxpark pre-game if we get there?
Irrelevant, apparently the bloke that owns it is Charlton. 2019 Sunderland should have had it and he said no.

Roger Wade owned Boxpark and you're right he is a Charlton fan, but since we were last there in 2019 he sold Boxpark to Lloyds.

It looks like this will be the highest attendance of any game in South London this season
Not only was the playoff semi-final crowd (25,722) larger than the highest attendance at Selhurst Park or The Den this season, it was actually larger the capacities of either of those grounds.
Brilliant. So where were the 1300 empty seats? Just in the Jimmy Seed?
  • I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get through the turnstiles in covered end (upper) around 19:30. About 5 min wait. Very well organised.
