Has anybody had a MRI scan recently? I think ive done some ligament damage to my knee, it badly swollen and i cant bend it or put weight on it. Constantly aches.
Im know i should go to the hospital first but i hate them. Im gonna go see a physio tomorrow but do MRI's cost a fair bit?

A few hundred I reckon. You got private health insurance through work? If so use that.

See your GP. Get yourself referred to an NHS unit. In this country, medical care is supplied free of charge at the point of need.0

Went to Docs & 7 Days later had the scans.....0 -
If you hate hospitals have a MRI scan might be tricky as they tend to be in the same places

Seriously, stop being a typical man and go and see your GP ASAP. The quicker you get it dealt with the better.0 -
The MRI scan I had on my achiles tendon the other year was £900.0

Might be worth putting your hatred aside for 1 day in order to be referred for the scan and saving yourself hundreds of £'s0 -
