And then five more quickly afterwards would be grand.

Cut down the Green and we stand a slight chance.

The private benefactor that paid for Cam Green is probably quite happy.

Huge appeal third ball to Green. Looked out to me :(
Looks like this is going to be a big big moment.

Leaning dropping him was the moment

Jaydn Denly not bowling in the match is probably explained by his absence from the field with a side strain.

Gloucs win by 3 wickets. We put up a great fight but not quite good enough.

Just gone back in the stream to watch that ball (I missed it first time round) and even slowed it down to 0.25 speed to get a better look at it!

If I'm being charitable to the ump I'll say the ball hit Green outside the line of off stump and as he was playing a (kind of) shot that means not out.

However with my Kent hat on that was as plumb as you can get and we've been robbed! ;)

That's the thing. We lost Dudgeon and Kashif hasn't been good enough especially in a match such as this which is around the margins. His return in this game was 2-128 and in total, in his 5 matches, he's taken 11 wickets at 51.64. I don't expect Ball to be playing in the next match having bowled 37 overs in this and leaving the field in the second innings but wouldn't be surprised if we didn't omit Kashif too. We will have Ogborne and Garrett available, might bring in Parkinson and one wonders about the fitness of Evison, Cohen and Quinn too.

    I missed that.

Good effort from the boys and a great game but very disappointing to come out on the wrong side.

We put ourselves in good positions throughout but we just aren’t quite good enough.

For the 2s this afternoon in a T20 against Sussex, Klaassen has returned figures of 4-0-33-5. That bodes well for the Blast especially as we will have Agar and Rogers available too.

I think our Blast side will look something like this (assuming Joe Denly is fit). Four frontline bowlers with the other four overs to be split between Evison, Denly and Leaning depending  on the situation:

    Muyeye
    DBD
    Denly (Joe)
    Billings (C & WK)
    Leaning
    Evison
    Finch/Benjamin
    Rogers
    Agar
    Parkinson
    Klaassen

That looks a fairly decent team. Until half of them get injured posing for the first team photograph.

Is Rogers with us for the whole Blast?
