Stupid question incoming (and slightly off topic): the players’ scarfs, I assume they’re from the stalls outside the Valley and not in the club shop. Will those stalls, or some similar, have the players’ scarfs in the area around Wembley?
Spoken to boxpark and no decision has been made yet apparently.
My guess is they’ve been told Orient but have pushed back as it’s likelier to be busier with Charlton.
I think it only holds 2k, so i'd imagine whoever gets it will sell it out.
My guess is that it was originally designated for Orient but the police have realised we're probably going to have around 15k more fans at Wembley, so need to allocate us more pubs. I can't think why else the council website will have changed.
So the fan zone will serve alcohol for just one hour for our game ?
I'm assuming that's for the 3pm kick offs.
Such a pain having our game moved to 1pm. Too many of the "instructions" (like above) will not be edited for our circumstances and therefore will leave fans confused.
Another cock-up by the EFL / EPL. They could have quite easily moved the Prem games to 2pm (always at least 1 on at that time on a Sunday so hardly unusual) and then our games could have been at 4 or even 5pm.
The EFL didn’t want to up set some fans by them missing their Sunday roast dinner, I’m sure you’ll understand.
Due to the silly kick off time, I probably won't be searching out a boozer before the game, although I'll probably have a couple of cans on the train. I'll just concentrate on hitting the beer after the game to celebrate or drown my sorrows.

1 hour & 31 minutes I think (if it starts selling beer at 11am and stops 30 mins before our 1:01pm kick off).
Given the early kick off, plus not really wanting to get rat arsed, I think I’ll either have a quick one in the Fan Zone if it’s not a crazy queue for a pint or just head straight into the stadium. The bars on level 2, where my seats are, are pretty decent.

It opens at 9am and they stop selling 1 hour before kick off.
I looked seems have to get some kind of black card or soming register etc and it stops serving beer at 12 seems a pain In the ass will just find a proper pub with garden.

I have always needed a black card to get in a boxpark and the steadfast refuse entry without. That said, football crowd for a specific match won't be easy to manage, so I assume they will be like last year and let anyone in who has pre-booked.
Interesting point on post-match and whether the allocations will still be enforced. I can't see boxpark allowing mix of fans even after the game

My dad still has a burner phone lol, not everyone has 'modern' phones !

I can't see many fans wanting to continue drinking around Wembley after the game if your team has lost. If you want to drown your sorrows, you'd rather do it nearer to home.

Entry throughout the day is for Charlton fans only.
The ticket guarantees entry pre-match. Post-match however is first come, first served.

If anything it might have made more sense to reserve Boxpark after the game for the winning side.
EDIT ah in a hour, ty !

£5.50 for 4 Stella's in Sainsbury's. That's 8 Stella's to be halfway rat arsed before Wembley, for the price to enter a place to buy a single drink.
The train will be my pub, proper Charlton.
