  • We assume the additional 1,400 will be on sale to those on the database, and the general sale put back accordingly? Satisfying demand of those on the database hasn't run its course yet.
    You would certainly hope so!
Im fine with season ticket holders and members etc getting tickets. But will be p'd off if the remaining extra go straight on general sale and there's one massive frenzy
Having spent a few hundred quid on plane tickets already, without yet securing tickets for me and my son, I would be royally peed off if it goes to a free-for-all.
Feel for you. You'll get tix!

Without being rude, is this image AI?

It's just I've never seen it before and something about it looks.. off? The colouring etc.

Almost certainly AI, it's definitely the same lad twice.

    is that Claudia Winkleman?
Her phone is pointing at a man with a white shirt, screen is red. Whatever is in that blokes pocket is completely distinguishable, plus the Charlton England hybrid badge.

    Bonkers decision 😂
It's a stock image from Alamy

Wembley should have enough sales to get Buble along to sing Sway!
    OOOOH ! Please !

I might even pay extra for that  :)

Don’t think that’s AI, details like hands are too good
Should people be panicking for tickets now?

No we’ll be grand - if there’s a balls up perhaps it’ll kick off at 3pm after all
  • Do I understand this correctly?

The club is awaiting the e-tickets to distribute, which remain under review following the updated kick-off time of 1.01pm on Sunday.

Someone has delayed the issue of tickets, because of the decision to add a token minute to the KO time.

    If that’s true - it’s outrageous
But not Orient, who've already sent theirs?

While I'm posting... am baffled by only an extra 1,400 tix being released (and needing to wait for them).

This is an 80k capacity stadium that won't ultimately sell out.... just keep the ticket sales flowing....

Anyone got that seat view link?

The one I find on Wembley just shows where the seat is and not the view !!
If you just google your block number and row there should be images of what your view looks like.
Google view from my seat - wembley stadium, you can view your seat in 3D. No poor seats really at the National stadium.

Do we have to sit in our allocated seat?🥸

  • Booked my train.
  • This below from an orient forum:

'And we still haven’t put tickets on general sale! This is a poorly thought out decision by the club and will lead to Charlton fans buying tickets in amongst the Orient fans. It’s not as if we would sell out our allocation even if there was no first dibs for season ticket holders.
I spoke to a Charlton fan today who is coming with his mate and rather than wait and take a risk on Wembley possibly giving them extra blocks, he’s buying tickets in our end once they go on general sale and he won’t be the only one.'

Yep plus all the text is correct, im very confident it’s not AI
I don’t think it’s AI either and I work at an AI company. So it’s a nailed on FACT.

Only been given an extra 1400 but still asking for more

And why 48 hours before they can go on sale?
Probably a stop gap measure to shut us up and stop people buying Orient general sale tickets.

I'm assuming our delay also delays, or prevents, Orient going on general sale? Could hit the gate by 20,000 across both clubs if all parties don't collectively get their act in gear!

We've just sold out our Wembley allocation in crazy time, looking ahead to the biggest collection of Charlton fans most of us will have ever been part of, an incredible day coming up on Sunday. And we are going over whether a photo is AI and whether the club should have used it.

Hahaha - who gives a shit.
Not me. I was one of the 132,553 people that packed into The Valley to see the 7-6 win over Huddersfield Town.
You sure you're not getting confused with that 48k that saw Millwall play Derby?

No. But my grandad was there funny enough! Apparently a few thousand more got in & many sent in the gate money after Millwall won the game, including my great uncle Bill.
