I do like it when we are demanding tickets.. I'd of done 2 tickets per person from the start. That way hopefully all those that should've got a ticket would've done. I've no doubt we could sell 45000 tickets. Does my head in on these 1 off games that people choose to attend that we expect clubs/Wembley to accommodate us. Same happened with Man u in the league Cup and the Doncaster semi final in 2019. For those that maybe unfortunate enough not to get a ticket there's always 46 games next season
I kind of get your point, but it doesn't always work like that. As you can probably see the from the overseas thread, along with those UK expats, plus the ones who can't afford to go much anymore, the one off games can be the one chance to be there for Charlton again when it really matters.
I was lucky enough in the queue Tuesday to get 4 together. I wasn't fussed on being up in the high tier as going with my kids and dad all together for the 1st time. Read comments on here that the top tier view is pretty good for kids so just went for it as soon as it was my turn. Is it my imagination or did something similar happen for the last Wembley game? I'm sure I got tickets before sell out and then my neighbour got great seats in the middle the day before ko

Yes, they started selling the best seats in the middle after all the others had sold. I anticipate them doing so again and still think we'll get at least 5,000 extra after the 1,400 are snapped up.
Orient have sold very few tickets in the last 7 hours.

Thanks mate. My pal is flying over in the morning from US and I sort of told him the same
Orient have got approx 500 still not sold (plus approx 10,000 they've not put on sale).
That's a good effort from then. They may even get to 35k
I thought they would sell a maximum 30,000 and I still think that, if they sell approx 5,000 on General Sale.
Orient have barely sold any tickets now to fans on their system for 2 hours. They have to put the rest of their allocation on General Sale and common sense dictates that we will also be allocated more for General Sale. If not we will start buying in their end.

26000 sold according to their forum.
26,400 according to their Chief Exec on twitter.
Good numbers for them to be fair, but still 10k short of their allocation with 3 days to go and it doesn't make any sense why we haven't been given more yet.
Orients are only on general sale to fans who are on their database from recent years , I’ve had Orient (swear this fella was West Ham) fans from old asking me for tickets , one had a season ticket for 20 years but not been for 5 years due to family commitments, obviously sent them packing .

I take this as a personal challenge!
I last went, and only went, to an Orient game 11 years ago (me & @GlassHalfFull went to their playoff semi vs Peterbrough in 2014 as neutrals - a last-minute general sale purchase)
Anyway - I figured I must have a dormant account somewhere.
Dormant account revived, I can buy up to 4 tickets.
I couldn't buy more than 5, though the website didn't make it clear why, but I figured out the limit of 4 rule. If like me your mate didn't bother reading their FAQs beforehand, maybe that's what he encountered, but didn't adjust the basket to 4? Get him to try again and buy fewer, he might be ok.
(Edit - have done a few more checks, I can buy up to 6, not 4)
(Edit 2 - remembering what I did, I had to register for a new account. When I did that, it subsequently matched the new account to the dormant one, and I was validated)
And no, before anyone asks... I'm not helping anyone out via this route!

Well said.
Whatever anyone's situation is for going to games frequently or not, we're all Charlton fans.
Were are looking at a crowd of around 64k with ticket sales where they are for both teams. I reckon it could hit over 70-75k by the time tickets go off sale.
You gotta laugh or cry. Nearly everyone agreed 4 tickets per person was good enough. I've now seen a couple of people I thought would've got a ticket are now sweating.
Said similar on the first couple of pages of this thread and got pounced on by the usual. Not difficult Maths to work out.
The multiple devices/browsers approach is definitely worthwhile - the 'queue' you get placed in is entirely random regardless of when you joined, so having a few different browsers means come 2pm you can go with the one thats nearest the 'front'

They appear great numbers but a lot of their supporters are twins.
So after the tiny extra 1.4k tickets will we get another 5k / 10k or more and everyone who wants a ticket gets in … or not ?
"will we get another 5k / 10k or more" - we don't know yet
"everyone who wants a ticket gets in" - assuming further sales go ahead, and that by 'everyone' you mean people on the database, that'll depend on the number of people on the database actively looking. But it doesn't look like going to a general sale, so that should help matters.

Both clubs / Wembley need to move on to the next phase asap - this 'Orient punters on the database' phase has run its course.

As always, like everyone else, I'm only guessing.
