Some news stories you connect with and the tragic randomness of Simone White's death resonated in my household as my Daughter is in her late 20's and travels the globe for work and play.

You/I are always apprehensive about our children from when they depend on us to when we need their help as adults in this fast changing technological world.

I felt for Simone's family before knowing it was Covered End's Niece last month. A beautiful young women's life cut short.

Our kids have to live their lives and sending Condolences to Steve's family at the shocking events which occurred.

    RIP Simone White

I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words and additionally to those that generously donated to the Great Ormond Street Hospital and Parkinson's UK charities.

I have personally thanked all the donors whose names I recognize.
If anyone has donated and I haven't thanked them, then please take this post as my personal thank-you.

I wish everyone the best Christmas possible X

I'm sorry for your loss @Covered End, but I hope the generosity of people donating in Simone's memory is a small comfort to you all. I've just taken a look, and it's up to exactly 12 grand now.
