  • Anyone else planning on going the Arena Square fan zone before hand? Seems ideal for a couple of drinks next to the stadium to soak up the atmosphere if the weather is ok
    Yep well be on there
  • What time would you need to be there to defo get into it? (Arena Square)

I can't imagine a place selling alcohol not having toilet facilities 🙈 soon as that tap opens would be mayhem.
Is there bogs in our fanzone ?
Yeah that's why I asked, because ours doesn't.

Arena Square is just an open facility. Dont believe there is anyone on doors or checking you in. You need tickets for the Boxzone though.

The Arena Square Fan Zone will open from 10am for food and alcohol and is free to enter, but you must present your match ticket for entry. The bars close will close at 12pm.
  • Where did you see open from 10 for alcohol? I read elsewhere no booze til 11?
  • It's on the official site.

The White Horse has been allocated to us, but it appears they open at 12?
  • From wembleystadium.com

The Sunderland / Charlton / AFC Wimbledon Fan Zones will be located on the West side of the stadium (Arena Square)

They will be open from 10:00 each day and serving alcohol from 11:00. They will close 30 minutes prior to kick-off. (stop serving alcohol one hour one before)

Supporters will need to present a valid stadium ticket to enter the fan zones on all three days. Capacity is limited and the stadium’s bag policy (see below) also applies.

When they say valid ticket, will the Google wallet QR code be ok?
  • Yes, the fan zones don’t sell booze till 11am

Arriving in the fan zone at 11. I spoke to a Forest fan earlier and he said that at their semi final the queues at the pubs and fan zones were so bad that it was easier to just drink in the stadium.

    No real surprise surely.
I'd have thought looking at the tube map and find where a spoons is to each station.
Get to the boozer for 9, have a couple of hours then make your way to the ground.
  • London Bridge for 10 - will make our way over 11ish and have one in the ground

So for our match the fan zone sells booze for one hour?
  • Yep, think so
  • Am sure I read somewhere it will be 10:00 for our match but can’t remember where I saw that

  • Will the fan zone play non-stop garage bangers at absolutely deafening volumes and have a sixteen hour queue for beer?

Wtf would they do that? At least I can wrap my blanket around my head to deaden the sound.
  • How busy do we expect Wembley pubs - or better to hold in Baker Street

Very and yes if you want to get served reasonably quickly

In the Arch it’s empty at the moment. Decent pub with loads of tables outside.
  • Do they serve beer at this Wembley fan zone thing? Assume it's free entry?
  • We're in the Wetherspoons in Kingsbury. Not too busy, able to get a table etc then a short jubilee line journey to Wembley Park.
  • Don't bother with The Green Man. You won't get in
  • Just got this list off a police officer.
Were in Wembley International Hotel reception bar. Plenty of Charlton in here.
