    Switched over to the left, Jones half clear, ball pings about on the edge of our box, Orient slightly loose pass and Godden shows good awareness to nip in and intercept so we can clear

    Small up the left cuts inside, looked like the ball might've gone out but Godden crosses but we can't make use of it

    HT 1-0, Slow start, and Orient had us on our heels, but we gained momentum as the half progressed, great FK from Macca gave us a lead, more of the same second half lads, and this will be all sewn up..

    Decent 45mins, has felt fairly even but we've looked more dangerous going forward, shame that no one gambled on Godden's pass right at the end as that was nailed on 2-0!!

    Need to ensure Orient dont come out like how they finished the first half - But great strike from Macca, predicted both a goal, and it being him when we got that Free Kick

    He's got the measure of them too, just needs the confidence to take it past, as feels Small vs Currie is a very even match up so far... Had that one moment where he finally got in, and decided to shoot from a tight angle instead of trying to find the pass

    Bitty game. Most of our players aren't on the same wavelength. Balls being played inside & the player not running. 

    Defence staying strong. They are the key.

    Horrible to watch but we're in front.  Need to maintain grip on midfield and Agwei and that's game done. Won't be easy and we should note Shef Utd we're in front at half time yesterday and lost.. COYA!

    Its the Orient counter attack that has been most problematic so far this afternoon, but they'll hopefully find that harder as we can now counter them as they get more and more desperate.

    That became clearer as the half ended, started seeing a lot more space for Godden, who deserves a huge shout out for tracking back and getting that interception as they really threatened

    Doesnt bode well that against a decent full back Campbell is completely ineffective, Grimmer last week, Grabilath now, going up a level the full backs arent going to get any easier

    Great free kick for the goal, it really helps having a left and a right footer over the ball,  and the keeper not knowing who will take it.

    Great noise from the Charlton fans,  very poor from the Orient fans, not a song from them.

    Galbraith isn't even a Full-Back, Campbell is getting doubled up on and he's not getting any support as we cant leave the left exposed.

    I'll get stick for this (and have done for the last month and a half when I've trotted it out mid-match) but ...

    Charlton have scored the first goal on 24 occasions in the league this season (including play-off semi-final) and are unbeaten with 23 wins and one draw.

    Orient might as well go home now and have the rest of their Sunday back 😉
