    Tomorrow

    Kartal v Bouzkova 1st on court 11 (10:00am U.K time)
    Norrie v Gomez 3rd on court 13
    Boulter v Keys 3rd on Phillipe-Chatrier
    Fearnley v Humbert 4th on Simonne-Mathieu
    Draper v Monfils 4th on Phillipe-Chatrier (not before 7:15pm U.K time)
  • Swiatek looked awesome,no disgrace to get beaten by someone that good, although many of the games where very close.I am by no means a tennis coach, but I think Emma sometimes is very slow getting into her hitting position, several times yesterday, balls where hit straight at her and she really could do nothing other than just lob them back.
Looking forward to Draper v Montfiels tonight should be a cracker.
  • Swiatek really was formidable yesterday

agreed. Laura Robson courtside yesterday said the most impressive thing about Swiatek was her impeccable footwork.
  • Kartal beaten 6-1 6-4 by Bouzkova.
  • Norrie should be getting started shortly, as should Boulter after the conclusion of Sinner/Gasquet where Sinner has a 2 set lead.
  • Richard blown a Gasquet?  ;)

Won the first set on a tie break.

Oh to play a player ranked 144 in the 2nd round not the defending champion - yeah, I know he beat Medvedev in the first round!
  • Boulter outclassed similar to Radacanu and Kartal. Grass court season should be more productive.

    Norrie through in straight sets.
  • Fearnley a break up in the opening set against 22nd seed Humbert.

  • Fearnley a break up in the opening set against 22nd seed Humbert.
    Takes the set 6-3
  • Humbert has retired at 4-4 in the second set.

Sets up Norrie v Fearnley in round 3.
  • Draper takes the first set over Monfils 6-3
  • Humbert has retired at 4-4 in the second set.

Sets up Norrie v Fearnley in round 3.
Guarantee of a Brit in the last 16.
  • Fearnley up to 48 in the live rankings.
  • Draper takes the first set over Monfils 6-3
    One set all now.

Monfils is about 52 now though isn't he?  Surely he'll fade.
  • Draper up 2 games to 0.
  • Superb game if anyone wants to switch to Sky.
Draper up 2 sets to 1,
    But 4-2 down in 4th.
  • Draper had 10 break points in this set and just about managed to take one of them. Monfils has had one and taken it lol. Back on serve though.
  • Draper wins.
    Great game.

Gutsy win in front of a passionate crowd. He plays Brazilian teenager Fonseca next.
  • Draper wins.
    Great game.
Was a great match to watch. Not usual to get such a brilliant match in only the second round. what a great guy Monfils is - great sportsmanship at the end too

Well that was a cracker of a match,if only the sporting world had more people like Montfils, what a happy place it would be.

Both him and the retiring Gasquet have been really good to watch down the years.
  • Tomorrow

    Draper v Fonseca 3rd on Suzanne-Lenglen

    Norrie v Fearnley 4th on Simonne-Mathieu
  • Draper will not only have the highly rated 18 year old to contend with but the passionate Brazilian crowd that idolise and turn up in great numbers to watch him.
    Estimated starting  time is 13.30.

Norris v Fearnley for a place in the last 16 would've been unthinkable Six months ago when Norris was dropping down the rankings faster than a skydiver and Fearnley was trying to break the top 100 !
    On same court after Draper.
