Phil Alexander was a good kicker for the London  Monarchs.

    Interview:

So Phil in order to reduce losses do we:

    a) close the Jimmy Stand on occasion to save £2.50 ? or

    b) cut back on corporate hospitality for the SMT ?

    😉🙂

Yet to hear any news about this appointment.

If the person was in-house I'd have thought they would have announced by now but maybe they wanted to announce the Jones deal first.

If it is an external appointment, then maybe they are waiting for the person to finish their notice period with their current employers.

Or maybe we haven't found anyone yet.

To be fair I don’t think even Curbs is CEO material.

If Rodwell is the Managing Director, why do we need a separate CEO as well?

Curbs would have been perfect as Director of Football - his talents would be wasted as CEO which requires certain attributes that I’ve never really understood - an ability to talk corporate bullshit without a hint of irony or embarrassment being the main ones

The interim Chief Executive Officer of the National League is Phil Alexander?

Phil Alexander would be an excellent appointment just have to ignore the three years a Palace and that he bears a resemblance to Nigel Farage 😬

I’m sure his name was mentioned here a few weeks back.

If Alexander was lined up for the job it would seem odd for him to take an interim job in May rather than ours.

Airman and Cawley linked us with Phil Alexander back in April.

Perhaps he needed to make rent?

Hard to see anything about why he only lasted 7 months at Bristol City, but some suggestion that they brought in a very experienced CEO, when what the owners then realised they wanted was a “yes man”.

Seems very odd to take on the Interim CEO role at the National League two days after our play off win if he’s been lined up here.

Gavin Carter suggested an appointment was close - indeed imminent - on recent CAST Q&A. Expect we’ll get an announcement fairly soon.
