I'm not saying that we should be going back to Southgate either, I'm pointing out as well that we've focused on our desperation for short term by going for a Manager who is going to undo everything good that made playing for England over the last few years... The right appointment would have carried that on.

The defence is probably going to be the hardest part for Tuchel to work on, he's got Lewis-Skelley coming through, but realistically Maguire and Walker are on their way down, Stones is injury prone, and we dont really have anyone else yet that is defensively reliable enough.
