Glastonbury 2025…Things to look forward to!

A mere ten days away from my favourite music event in the calendar - Glastonbury Festival.

Conflicts galore across the festival’s schedule as usual so will be dilemma fuelled weekend. Keen to know if others are going and who you are looking forward to seeing?

My hit list includes Alanis Morrisette, Franz Ferdinand, The Fratellis, Noah Kahan, Nile Rodgers and Supergrass amongst many others.

Tempted to get a CAFC flag as long as I can get a long enough pole for it as the shorter ones piss me off no end.

  • Will be watching on TV but looking forward to self esteem, prodigy, patchwork (pulp), CMAT, macabees, weezer, kneecap, future islands.

Flags at Glastonbury really fuck me off.

Might as well just have one saying ‘you can’t see the stage because of me’
There will be tons of Palestine ones there like October 7th never happened.

Not my bag at all glasto due to the mindset of most that attend but it’s a free country so each to their own. Headliners are bit weak this year I think

    Please don't ruin the thread

The headliners this year seem pretty poor. The 1975? Who actually likes their music apart from Tim Healy and Denise Welch

I don't like them but they undoubtedly have a large fanbase, that field will be packed. As the cliche goes anyway, Glastonbury isn't about the headliners
  • Been to 8 glastonburys and the only headliner ive ever bothered seeing was The stones.

Yeah, you are right. Was going to order two - one with
Nathan Jones’ Red & White Army on it with our badge in each of the four corners and a second for the Nile Roger’s’ gig with ‘Let me Staple the Vicar’ on it for Nile’s inevitable performance of his co-write ‘We are family’. Will ditch plans as your above comment is well made!
  • I will be at Glastonbury @Pavoren007...as usual I'll be volunteering for Diverse UK (autism charity) manning their Sensory Calm Spaces...think I'm only doing two shifts, as one is in the new 'Dragons Tail' area (in naughty corner) from 9pm Fri - 4am Sat...then think I am in Markets SCS from 4pm - midnight on Saturday (both tough shifts, 'specially one after the other...). Anyway...no-one I really want to see this year, other than Supergrass, Osees, CMAT and Nadine Shah (would like to see the Macabees too, but am leaving on Sunday afternoon, so will miss them). This year, I am going to spend more time wandering around and seeing what I can stumble in to....and will make more of an effort to get into all the staff bars and 'secret' areas that you need a staff wristband for... I'm staying in accessible camping right next to Woodsies, and that whole area around the tree stage is possibly my favourite, as it's just so chilled... Hope you have a great time and I'll keep an eye out for a Charlton flag...
