Is anyone finding a size missing in the infant kits. Jumps from 2 - 3 years to 4 - 5 years? No 3 - 4?
Infant seems to be up 4-5 and then junior goes straight to 7-8.
yeh that seems odd. there'll be a lot of 5-7 year olds either squeezed or swamped this season!
  • Maybe the details of the lease got in the way?

In the past, all these items would have been blamed back to Dangermouse and Burgerboy. Who is our next in line?
More than likely. Commercial leases run on quarter days. Either 24 June old school or 1 July for more modern arrangements.

  • Shorts and socks

looks like a poor ai mockup to me

Agreed. But that’s straight from the website.
  • I’ll admit I only ever buy clothes in sales, but the price of sports gear / merch has gone through the roof last few years
  • Think the home shirt is horrible. Way too busy. As predicted most of @nug ‘s designs were better.

As I haven’t bought a replica shirt since about 2005, my opinion doesn’t really matter, but I dread to think what was rejected if that is the best they can come up with.

Yeah shirt prices are out of hand. Says a lot when £55 is actually pretty reasonable compared to what some of the big teams are charging.

  • Despite my initial horror at seeing the hoodie, the rest of the stuff looks great and it’s fantastic to see Reebok promoting it to their global customer base.
  • I like it
  • A schizophrenic, mouldy mess of a shirt.

Yeah a lot of the big clubs now sell a standard replica jersey and then an even more expensive one which will basically be the same material as the one the players wear. As a guide Arsenal's replica is £85 and the 'authentic' players one is £120
  • Like the shirt and tempted to buy a new one for the first time in like 10 years, but normally prefer the away so will hold on a little

Same as always, thats been like that for years.

3rd kit last year my son had was in 3 - 4 age, so thinking it’s a club website typo perhaps?

No idea, but the ages never overlap. Always 3-4, 5-6 etc
  • Last season's home kit was the best in years. This looks like it's been given to an intern to fuck about with!

Just really tacky - the design looks like mildew, and the weird stripes just look crap. Black cuffs bizarre - just don't go. Great job!

Don't hold out much hope on the others - again, last seasons were brilliant!

Will not care if we have a good season tho!

  • Notice the black range is now called ‘travel wear’.
    Lol

    This is nice!!!
It’s ok, but think they could have done better, with putting the logos left and right, over the nips.
  • The Travel stuff is what the players will go to games in, the blue pro stuff is the training stuff, all in for one of those Mid layer tops
  • I can see the attraction of the black gear, but there should have been some red/white on it, if only the club badge at  least...
  • Really like the ad. Men and women's team involved, and I think a few of the non-Charlton players are fans.

Lewis and Rhea of course Charlton, not sure on the others. Nice to see that along with Sean and Niall the drummers getting some recognition.
Really dislike the ad. Typical of today's adverts for most things where an urban "street" approach is taken despite most of the buyers being middle aged forty somethings from Kent.

Personally I'd prefer a picture of the men's captain standing on the pitch with the new kit on.

But then I'm increasingly becoming the old git that loves a moan because things aren't as good as they used to be.

In terms of the kit itself - it's a no from me. Looks mouldy, but at least the club will save money on armbands if someone dies.

Are middle aged 40 somethings from Kent really the target audience for shirts and merch ?
  • Is it an urban “street” approach if it’s just shot on the roads around the Valley? Surely that’s just Charlton?
    "street" is not literal...

but if it was, I'd prefer it if it was "pitch".
