3 blokes from f block help needed

Hi All
I'm need some help if anyone able to please it's the father in laws funeral soon and he wanted valley floyd road played the one the 3 blokes from f block released some time ago the funeral directors say that they are unable to play it due to licensing rules. However I know it was self released by a chalton fan called Jon McCaffrey so I'm looking at getting permission directly from him would anyone be able to help please
I would really appreciate it.

    That was made in 1926 so would be coming towards public domain now.

    I am sorry for your loss.

    If your worried about copyright issues contact the club info@cafc.co.uk or fans@cafc.co.uk (since it was played at Wembley they might some insight on it).

    Most clubs will grant permission when asked but we must always seek permission first . We apologise if this causes delays but we must respect the club’s copyright* on every occasion.

    *-Although not Charlton's copyrighted song it may be wise to seek clarification from the club about the copyright surrounding it.

    PLEASE NOTE: Phonographic Performance Ltd (PPL) and PRS for Music have both waived the requirement for music performance licences during weddings and funerals. This means both live music and music recordings can be freely played during these services, as long as the service is not being recorded or streamed over the internet.

  • Knew @3blokes would help out. For info it’s on the Wesley system which most Crematoria use.
