For the sake of those who don't have Twitter/X, sometimes it would be helpful for original posters to mention who the person they are posting here is. Too many times, a discussion starts and then it turns it's a bloke bored in there bedroom with less than 250 followers.

Appreciate those who call out that it's a fake rumour etc.
please disregard @stoneroses19’s comments . Less than 20,000 visits here and no promotes (a whiff of the North about ‘em n all).
It hurts to have been here since 2007 and never written a promote-worthy post 😢
I don't see why promotes are given as they're purely subjective. Why should the opinion of whoever awards them be shown to carry more weight than others? Stick to likes. We're an online community of equals, not one where some are more equal than others (or they shouldn't be).

I haven't feasted as much on humble pie as some get through on here, but I can thoroughly recommend the sour grapes 😉
Every comment on here is Subjective surely..🤷‍♂️

    So why make a distinction?

Pretty clear from the interview this morning that the players who have agreed to sign are on holiday and nothing will be concluded for a week or two .. plus like Carey who name was never mentioned on any social media site .. expect the players  have not been mentioned anywhere .. it’s the way the club does its business .. so let’s just wait ….
Any idea on who the players are?

You’re usually Spot On with the info!
As I say the targets are kept pretty much in house now days ..the only that does have legs is the Orient lad, wages are not a problem we will pay more then Huddersfield it’s just if we want to pay 2 mill plus ( neither side have offered more then 1.5 at present ) despite various stories saying  otherwise ..

David Kelior-Dunn is one I hope we get. Looked a very good player in a bad Barnsley side at the valley

David Keillor-Dunn will be the new Igor Ventokele
Kayne Ramsay is already the new Igor Ventokele. Or Kane Ramsey as he's known

Nope, not equal. I have 3 promotes, bow down to me and treat me with the respect I deserve 😂

    That's ok then :)
  • Surely every post is a subjective choice of words, and every post from everybody is saying ‘look at me’.
That’s how these things work, similar to graffiti.

Don't want to labour this as I'm aware it's side tracking the thread, but to be clear, my point is that the assessment of the post as being worthy of a promote is subjective. If I can't give you a promote when I think you deserve one, that means my opinion on whether it is or not is irrelevant. However, some other self appointed judge with powers on here can decide that. Why? We're not all being treated as equals. Why have an option to rate someone's post that isn't available to all?

The apology to Richard Nixon should be as loud as the disrespect to him on here. The big man’s on the money yet again!
said it before (and I'll opine it once more) bid £3 Million as a final offer, then try to discuss personal terms. If we bid cheapskate, we'll get cheapskate players .. of course it would be good to know if the owners are intending to invest in players for the future, or to use the L1 cash reward to repay themselves for their past outlays
Blowing what probably is most of our budget on a player with 1 year left on his contract and has played at league 1 level only is absolutely madness no matter how good he might be at that level.
The point is that you, I, no-one on here has an idea what is our transfer budget.
You GUESS  probably £3 Million(ish), like I say, no-one here knows.
As I said above it would be good to know what is the amount the owners are prepared to invest.
I would hope there are funds available to sign a player (or players) who Nathan really wants, no-one wants or expects us to pay silly money or to risk bankruptcy.
But, I doubt if we will ever know
It would be a really bad idea if we did know how much they want to spend. If it was public knowledge then every agent would bid the price up to that number.

Apparently we have shown an interest in Keillor Dunn, source is the Barnsley chronicle supposedly. Personally think he was the best player we came up against last season.
Purely for interest and excitement it would be nice to think we are also looking at players above League One and or some random overseas leagues.

Every agent will know a ballpark budget a club has based on bids / offers being made by a club. Agents will collude as long as they’re not in direct competition.

Piece says interest from us and Boro but no bids , but the fee wanted is substantial.

The only thing I'd have with Boro and DKD is where he'd fit in , they've got Fin Azaz and Morgan Whittaker that can play a similar role to DKD.
  • Any of these worth looking at...?
